• Description

  Standing at 5'11", Ian Ward is your average Californian. He has light, bronze colored tan, and medium-length brown hair, the tips lightly bleached by the LA sun. He has steel-blue eyes, usually covered by a pair of reflective sunglasses.
  
  While on duty, he wears various suits, most often his light grey, single-breasted custom made ensemble that was a gift from his wife. Off duty, he usually wears a pair of khaki shorts, with a baseball cap, t-shirt, and sneakers.

• Biography

  Ian graduated from High School with a 4.0 gpa and immediately applied to the police academy. He graduated in the top 5% of his class and was assigned to the South Bureau of the Los Angeles Police Department. After proving himself as a uniformed officer, he was promoted to the plainclothes division as a Police Detective I.
  
  After this promotion, he married his on and off girlfriend he had met after graduating from the academy. Despite not believing he loved her, he felt it was in his best interest to appear to be in a stable relationship. He knew he cared for her deeply, and decided he would eventually come to love her. He was placed in the Gang and Narcotics Division of the Detective Bureau, and began to work more serious cases.
  
  Late at night, while working a gang related murder, he decided to stop by a bar on his way home. He ended up having a few too many drinks and went home with another woman. After waking in a strange place, he realized what he'd done and confessed to his wife. She refused to understand, and left him. His family took the news hard as well, and refused to speak with him. Losing his family and his wife, Ian became an alcoholic which eventually began affecting his work.
  
  After his divorce was finalized, Ian's boss ordered him to take time off. Ian decided to use his paid time off to go on vacation.
