  • Hair: Black, almost a deep brown that curls on the ends due to moisture.

  • Complexion: Deep tan from spending too much time in the desert heat, dark black hair on forearms, chest, abdomen and legs.
  • Build: Unusually tall and wide for his race. Known to have slimmer, lean bodies it is quite odd to see a dark complexioned man as big as he is. Roped with thick bands of muscles, broad in the shoulders, long in the arm and narrow in the hips. His back, shoulders, glutes, and core seem to have the heaviest concentration of build with his upper arms and thighs a close second. His build is known to intimidate although his personality is not. Although he is quite big, he moves silently and cat-like.
  • Scars: Several on his hands and arms from various fights as a teen, one from the left corner of his mouth to his left eyebrow, several on his thighs and feet as well as one across his chest. There are several other indistinct ones down his back. Tattooed on both upper arms and the breadth of his back.

  • Mannerisms: Very thoughtful and thorough, wont make a decision without going through all the pros and cons. A known brooder. Rubs the scar on his face when bothered and it takes a lot to bother him.

• Background

  Daxton (Dax) was born the second son to the King of the Dessert who has taken a second wife who thus had him. She was an Icelander from the North whom the dessert people adored with her unique beauty (pale haired, skinned and eyed) compared to their darker tones. The first Queen had died from disease and left the kingdom her only son, fifteen at the time as heir to the throne. Varo, the first son, was a greedy and cruel boy who longed for the throne and hated Dax and his mother with every fiber of his being. So when his younger brother was six, he had both their parents murdered and an assassin sent after his sibling. However, the King's general Rashda smuggled the boy out in the middle of the night, never to be seen again and reported dead to Varo.
  
  Daxton was taken to the outskirts of the kingdom where he was raised by the general as his son, mother long dead and never known. They frequently moved, the fear of being caught by the new royal guard terrifyingly strong and were known to hide in nomadic tribes and bands of thieves/rebels as they migrated through the territory. While the country hit rock bottom under its new leadership, the general and the boy built up alliances through their travels. Daxton spent most of his time being initiated into whatever new group they were joining, ending up scarred and tattooed as part of the process. Rashda trained Dax in the ways of their military and kept him rigorously studious. As the exiled prince grew older, it would frequently happen that he would wander away from the main caravan for days to weeks at a time before returning again. He also spent several years with blind and deaf priests, exiled from the kingdom because of their teachings, some had their eyes cut out and others their tongues for their foul language against the king. His hate for his brother started early in his life. Soon he would collaborate with Rashda to create a rebel army to lead against the Kingdom of the Dessert.
