The Rules of the Game
I. Age - I am an adult, OOCly you should be an adult too. Mature situations happen. As for IC age, I typically won't RP with a character younger than 16; just a policy of mine.
II. Para RP - One Paragraph will do. Three sentences will do! Quality over quantity. If it takes you two blocks of text to type how you're sitting down, don't even bother. I typically post only one paragraph at a time, and sometimes typos happen. Just no netspeak or silly emotes. Also, if your Furcadia description is nothing but a song lyric and your name is Toaster Oven, I probably won't even bother. We're given the space for a reason.
III. Fighting - Well, pirates don't just drink tea and read romance novels. Fighting happens, but I use it to move along narrative and not be the focus of the character. Consent wise, no death or dismemberment. Anything else is fine, though really outcomes should be discussed. This should help prevent god-modding. If we're going to do a back and forth, don't assume something hits. I roll with most punches and expect the same in return. In the Golden Tether, I use the Aspects system.
IV. OOC - Whispers are always OOC. I don't do whisper RP. That being said, OOC whisper my ears (eyes?) off. I enjoy a good chat. Just no confusing IC for OOC. I can sometimes be a bastard glazed bastard ICly, but OOC I am all types of friendly. I keep my Furc life and OOC life very separate, I'll be your friend but don't expect anything more. That dance card is full.
V. Derps - No edgelords, drama queens or sluts.
