    Hungry. Hope Master stops punishing me soon. I don't even remember what I did.

    I don't know what to do. Everyone's gone, even the stupid cat is gone. I tried setting a snare for one of the rabbits running around, but I never seem to catch anything in it. At least there's still fish in the pond. Maybe I can eat some of the stuff from my garden when it's ready.

    I buried Stupid today. I never buried Master. He just went away and died. A tree fell on him once and didn't kill him, but then he just goes and dies. I don't know if he is buried at all or if his bones are still out there somewhere. Maybe I should have looked before they took me back to the pens. I hate the pens. I'm not going back.

    Master Shard is going to be so mad at me. I don't know how Stupid got hurt, maybe it's because he's been trying to catch more food for us since the chickens got eaten. I don't know why I haven't been punished for loosing the chickens. Maybe he hasn't noticed them gone. I've tried patching up Stupid, but I don't really know what to do. I wish Peanut was here. He always knew what to do. Why aren't they ever here?

    There were skunks in with the chickens. Do skunks normally travel in groups? I tried to save the chickens, but I was too late. Now I smell like skunk and I don't have any chickens left. At least Stupid was smart enough to avoid the skunks. I don't want to have to give a cat a bath.

    I drew the cat. It's better than the chicken was I think, though he looks more like he's dead than sleeping. Master Shard is dead though. I'm sure of that now. Why wasn't I last time I wrote? I feel like I'm loosing my mind sometimes. I don't even remember what day it is. Guess it isn't really important.
    
    Nothing grows in the winter, and without my garden I've been having more time to think. I'm tired of being alone. Maybe I should have stayed with the others who tried to keep me, even if they didn't understand. It probably wouldn't have been any better than winter though. They never gave me much to do besides look after a few flowers. And they just never understood.
    
    One of the boards fell off of my home today, and let in a lot of cold air. I had to hammer it back in place, only I ended up cutting my thumb with one of the nails while I was trying to hammer it in. It was amazing. I haven't felt anything like that in a long time. Writing with it hurts, even though I have it wrapped up. It's exciting. Maybe I'll try and find some more boards to put up tomorrow.

    I do not know why I am writing this. Master Shard never had me write things. Perhaps he will like a log of what I have been doing with myself when he returns from his trip. He has been gone a very long time. It has been three years I think. Maybe four. Or two? I don't remember. Maybe this was all a dream and he never did die. Maybe he's hiding from me to make sure that I do what I am supposed to. I can't stay in a pen anymore. There are no pens here. Surely he will understand that. The chickens have been doing well this year, fewer predators are getting to them now. Perhaps they are tired of me chasing them and have moved on to easier food.
    
    
    I am not a very good drawer. Maybe it would have helped if the chicken didn't move so much. I think it looks like a chicken though, so that's a good thing. Did I used to draw? I don't remember. Perhaps I will draw Stupid later. He is very good at not moving when he sleeps. He's not here now. Maybe he is going to bring me a rabbit to eat tonight. He is a very good cat.
