  Such bright blue eyes…no, that’s not right. Such a bright blue eye, singular, shining as if it were emitting light from within. What matter of creature possessed such a stunning eye, casting the rest of his face in such an ethereal glow? Maybe a siren, perhaps a vampire? Or maybe some sort of fae would be more fitting.
  
  No no no, Ezra was a simple human, and a pitiful one at that. Once he was beautiful, the absolute picture of innocence and youth, but that was so long ago. Now he was left with one lonely eye, the soft blue glow no longer beautiful, but haunting as it played against his pale skin. More pronounced was the purple coloring around his eye, similar to bruising with its green and yellow tones, although the fluttering of eyelashes and half lidded stare hinted at a bad case of insomnia. Where the other eye should have been laid a textured eye-patch, with thick string criss-crossed along the edges where it had been haphazardly sewn directly into the skin. A stifling mask, uncomfortable in appearance hid the bottom half of his face, but the discolored scars and torn flesh peeking over the belted fabric promised a grotesque show for anybody brave enough to look. A pitiful human indeed.
  
  Even so, Ezra never looked ashamed, because he wasn't. For all the misfortunes that befell him, this little thief survived on, and survival is the name of the game. Shame was irrelevant, and his appearance hardly mattered in his line of work. With this mindset, he moved with grace and confidence not normally afforded to one as unfortunate as him. And whenever his cold, uncaring stare made even the toughest looking strangers break their gaze, he would smile ever so slightly under that mask.

  Please note that while Ezra is a capable fighter, he is not particularly strong. A thief prefers careful planning and trickery, as opposed direct confrontation. He tries to escape all battles if possible, and he is not opposed to using cheap tactics if necessary. If one were to somehow get him in a direct fight, Ezra's agility and flexibility would make him difficult to catch. However, he will go down in just a couple good, solid punches. Trained or not, there's limits to what a tiny human can do.
  
  What he excels at is putting people down quickly, typically with the element of surprise. At his disposal are a catalog of knife skills, deceptively dexterous fingers, quick and quiet feet, and an impressive knowledge of pressure points and anatomy. The take away is this : Ezra can take out a character before the fight even begins. Unfortunately, if an opponent has not already been laid out within the first few seconds, Ezra is basically boned. At that point he'll do anything to survive, including but not limited to : Throwing sand in someone's face, biting them, kicking their shins, offering a truce and then stabbing them in the back.

  As a thief of considerable talents, Ezra would have carried out many contracts before becoming a slave. He did charge hefty prices though, so most of these people would have to be part of the upper class. The rich, unsavory people that would hire a thief, coincidentally, would also be the kind of people to frequent TGT.

  Perhaps a person recognizes a thief who bested them many years ago, and escaped with their untold riches. How unfortunate that would be for Ezra. Many are not pleased with his actions, and I'm looking for some serious animosity.

  ∎Scars/wounds: His right eye has been taken out of the socket. Extensive burns and cuts cover the bottom half of his face, starting just under his nose down to his chin. His tongue has been cut down the middle. Various small to medium scars adorn the rest of Ezra's body, but nothing unusual or particularly important.
  ∎Voice: Low, quiet, Ezra always speaks just above a whisper, even when he's angry. He speaks with a Germanic accent, and a short hissing accompanies many of his words.

  ∎Personality: He's temperamental, and flips through emotions like an indecisive child. Sometimes he's callous, sometimes he's apathetic, other times he's understanding, but he is always, always self-serving. Make no mistake, Ezra looks out for himself, and only himself. He's scrappy in a fight, and is not opposed to using underhanded tactics to win.
  ∎Humor: Dry and dark, typically at the expense of others. Lack of moral guidance while growing up has left Ezra with unpredictable, and almost sadistic humor.
  ∎Strengths: He's quick with a knife, and moves unseen. Specializes in thievery, lock-picking, and acrobatics. Having zero shame probably counts as a strength.
  ∎Weaknesses: His small physical frame makes him weak in comparison to many of the much larger inhabitants of the area. Ezra harbors a deep fear of fire, and a corruptible love of money. Easy to manipulate through affection and validation.
  ∎Weapons: Two small push daggers, one hidden up each sleeve. One silver stiletto strapped to the upper left thigh. All weapons are concealed.
