  • Description

    Nil'Shar is small for one of his kind: thin, short, but certainly one capable of faster motions than his bigger kin. His hair is lengthy, but kept in dreadlocks, and bound near the base of his skull into a form of pony tail.

    His boots and pants are well worn as a man of the wilds, though his mithril chain-shirt (newly forged) is quite well kept for. He has a longbow strapped to his back with a quiver of arrows, and a pair of short-swords of Solanian True-Steel. At his belt is a magical pouch, and he keeps a backpack with his gear as well.

  • Biography

    Nil'Shar was one of the few of his clan to survive both an outbreak of a plague as well as the internment of his people by the Kado Empire: a human ruled state analogous to Imperial China.

    The clan, Rending Claw, was abused heavily by the Kado: many were beaten severely or slain outright as "vermin" who brought the plague with them in their nomadic wanderings though it was more likely to be from refugees fleeing across their border. The Imperial state then used the remaining warriors to defend their borders, or risk the safety of their families. It is in this environment that Nil'Shar was raised... on the stories of how things were before and to be a ranger for the Empire.

    While the kingdoms beyond have long since recovered, the Empire retains its various camps for negligible cost in defense of its borders. Nil'Shar, equipped and enchanted by his elders, was sent beyond the borders of the Kado Empire to seek help for his people... for they wish to be free to return to their lives before the sickness.
