Vengeance

• Just a Woman

  Five foot eleven. Thin, perhaps unhealthily so. Her skin pale. She had a straight, thin, narrow nose, and thin cupid's bow lips, with a tapering inverted isosceles trapezoid shaped chin. Her eyes were sharp at the corners, the irises a rich shade of brown with a distinct reddish tint. The most noticeable thing about them, however, were the deep black tattoos around them in the fashion of Egyptian eyes. Her hair was thick, deep black, falling around her face and past her shoulder blades in wavy layers. Every here and there one lock was hell bent on standing out from the rest in the form of a wiry curl.
  
  Her figure, as mentioned, was thin and boyish. There is a certain roundness to her hips, but otherwise it is very easy to mistake her for a boy at a glance. She had no breasts to speak of- upon peeling off her shirt one would find, other than prominent rib bones, two long scars on her chest, one each over the space where each breast would have been. She had long, bony fingers, the nails kept very short.

• Vestments

  Sekhmet tends toward muted, pleasant shades. She wears an oyster colored cloak over a beige tunic, with cream colored pants tucked into pastel grey, fur lined boots. She has gloves that match the boots down to the fur lining.

• The Spirit

  Those who can sense auras can tell there is something different about this woman. Her aura is layered. The outermost layer is a seething cloud of dark red laced with bright red electric bolts. The innermost layer is a hazy, pearlescent pale grey, reminiscent of the sky just before the sun has begun to peek over the edge of the horizon at dawn.
  
  The reason for this abnormality is that there are two souls fused together into one, housed in one vessel. They are one, but they are dual.
  
  Sekhmet is a necromancer. She became interested in necromancy at a young age after meeting a gypsy who claimed to be able to put her back in touch with her dead aunt. Naturally, it was a sham, but the interest was sparked nonetheless. When she was fifteen she was introduced to a small cult of necromancers by her boyfriend. While she was given the opportunity to learn necromancy, her boyfriend began to pressure her for certain favors more and more. Boundaries were pushed beyond their limits. As a result, Sekhmet cut off her breasts, rejecting her femaleness.
  
  
  Sekhmet left the group. She never opted to join another, but she did have a knack for finding books on the desired subjects, and so she studied independently for years.
  
  On her nineteenth birthday, she attempted a particularly tricky summoning, trying to conjure a powerful spirit of vengeance in order to bring pain and death upon the boy who had wronged her. However, the ritual had gone awry, and the spirit ended up possessing her. Not having the power to eject the spirit from her soul, the best she could do was absorb it. Now she and the spirit of vengeance are one, and it is difficult to tell which parts are her, and which parts are it- the ability to hold deep, bitter, long lasting grudges, the propensity toward horrific violent acts, the sudden flashes of cold, barely restrained rage- are they her, or are they the spirit? She is otherwise a generally peaceable, if somewhat morose and self-contained, individual.
  
  The spirit grants her knowledge of the use of fighting scythes, but does not otherwise imbue her with attributes she does not possess.
