Bahere is a very attractive being, though these days he spends his time conforming to "modern" standards rather than reveling in his true form. It is easier for him to pass himself as human rather than to exist as a Jinn. He's often wearing a black shirt under a black zip up hoodie and a pair of dark blue jeans.

In his true form he is adorned in tattoos, his skin is a blend of blues and his lips and hair are coal black going to charcoal gray at the tips. This form is only shown at the permission of his master, but despite his forms he is warm to the touch and acts like a little heater.

Bahere is a very old elemental being that has been passed down to people for ages, even he has only the vaguest idea how old he is. As a Jinn he is bound to an object, for centuries his object has been a glass and bronze lantern and can only be summoned out of it by the person who is the current owner.

That person happens to be a librarian turned treasure hunter named Julian, and Bahere has been in his service for the last few decades. He has never had any attachment to Julian and has mostly been serving as his thief and thug since the man came to be his master.

Master Julian was not the best master in the world, but he was also not the cruelest one he's ever had. Over their course of Master-Jinn relationship Bahere was used in many unorthodox fashions for a Jinn, but one day Julian left him in a place he shouldn't have. Bahere's lamp was upon a bookcase when an unsuspecting man named Finnian knocked it down. Finnian rubbed the proverbial lamp and released Bahere, making him Bahere's new master.

Being a Jinn, Bahere has access to some special powers. The more he uses his powers, the more it weakens him until he's forced to return to his bond item.

Fireballs: Just what it sounds like Bahere is able to lob fireballs at people.

Flame Wall: Bahere can summon up a flame barrier and move it around at will.

Control of Fire: If there is already a fire burning, Bahere can control the flames.

Immunity to Fire: Fire will not burn or otherwise harm Bahere in any way.

Superheat Item: This is mostly done with his khopesh but can be done with any object, Bahere can heat them to the point that just a touch would likely severely burn somebody.

Immortality: Bahere can be killed, but he will not die from old age or disease.

Mild Healing Abilites: Bahere can sacrifice some of his own energy to heal a fallen comrade. This saps him much faster than his fire spells, and after a healing he often has to return to his bond object.

Summoning: Bahere cannot walk around of his own free will, he must be summoned out of his bond object by the owner of the object, and then be given permission by that person to be able to do anything.
