Gwendolyne Julia Rosehand;
Gwendolyne or Gwen as she is called by her peers is the daughter of a minor nobleman - a commoner appointed to the rank of Baron by merit. She is 28 years old, and an only child, standing to inherit her father's small estate and carries the courtesy title of 'Dame' (Although many incorrectly 'promote' her to 'Lady', a title reserved strictly for nobility, which will not be given to her until the passing of her father). Gwendolyne is active with the local Cult of Sune, The Goddess of Love, Beauty, and Courtly Romance; and she adores all things beautiful, from the arts, to poetry, sculpture, dance and song - even something of a dancer herself. One thing however, that Gwendolyne does not appreciate is the Kingdom's practice of turning a blind eye to the abduction and enslavement of women from other cities, lands and places to be sold as slaves in markets throughout the region.
Gwendolyne's family is only minor nobility, the holding of her family having fallen into ruin during their absence, having taken Gwendolyne and traveled to another city in protest when laws allowing the trade of slaves were renewed a decade earlier.
The woman's mission seems a personal one, as if she had received some personal injury via the practice, though she does not speak publicly of why. Working through a combination of direct confrontation and subterfuge, Gwendolyne works to undermine slavers rings, and raiders wherever possible, and almost never removes the rose-steel blade, the symbol of her family's house from her right hip.
Lady Gwendolyne's crusade is tireless, and though the woman's title protects her somewhat from clandestine action against her, many nobles and several of the local merchants have become increasingly unsettled by her prying into their affairs, and the dragging of their dealings into the public eye for scrutiny before a magistrate; though she has failed now continuously to prove any wrong-doing and has been forced now several times to pay fines for not respecting the innate rights of her 'peers'.
Rules for Play;
I like to keep things simple. Fantasy, eroticism, D/s scenes and minor magical effects. Gwendolyne is a character written with erotic novels in mind; and I like story with my eroticism. Gwen can be played as either dominant or submissive; but doesn't naturally push for dominance; it's only usually after she grows anxious and tired of being teased. I'm much more comfortable in a submissive role; but if a submissive works to keep her interest, they'll discover Gwendolyne has a deeply repressed aggressive streak that can even be quite fierce.
Gwen can engage in action scenes, duels, violence, romance - she can be found at parties in formal gowns, dining in a common inn, or fighting duels with ambiguous stakes or whatever's necessary. Whatever she's doing, she'll be sexy doing it, promise.
