• Description

  Tarann is somewhat of a silver-tongued Galeacoma (not literally, of course), having learned the art of elegance alongside combat, in both combat and forms of communication, verbal and non-verbal. His battle style is akin to a dance; fluid and swift, direct and fierce, each strike chaining fluidly into the next. His mask is of a soft gold color, a product of both nature and application of various metal dyes and liquefied metals, the natural ash-steel coloured 'shell' of the mask being the exception, and patterned with a design adhering to theme of visual elegance. It came as a surprise when the characteristically fang-masked child was a male; hormonal mutation during development it has been suggested; though as he grew it became more and more obvious the child was as male as any other. His weapon of choice in prolonged combat is a simple bastard sword that appeared to be made of scavenged pieces of scrap, very out-of-place in comparison to how he carried himself. Though when the battle is even, a worn-out rapier is favoured for swift and precise combat, simply to add a little beauty to the battle. Much like his mask, his wings have a modicum of elegance as well, but not to such a refined degree, finding wings to be a tougher thing to maintain.
  
  Tarann isn't the kind to fight to the absolute end, incapacitation is preferred over murder. If a life being taken isn't a necessity a fatal blow will be spared, but an aggressor is sure to be damaged enough that time, wounds, and exposure will bring death's fell chill if medical attention is not sought. All elegance aside, the Galeacoma isn't particularly aggressive, but his state always seems to be balanced on a razor's edge. The best way to state it is that he's approachable and diplomatic, but cautious. No matter how tolerant he may seem everything has a breaking point. Most situations can be defused with communication first, and is advised as such. In combat he behaves much like any well-trained Galeacoma, barring the touch of elegance he puts to it; You can't fight nature, just adapt to it. "Offer one hand and arm the other" is a phrase that fits well enough for the slightly peculiar male.
