• Biography

  Her mother, a Thayian-raised drow in exile; a slaver born of slavery come to be the exotic Mistress of her father a Human Lord of The City of Llorkh, the Count Ebben Mallar. Madness, a little cruelty and more then a little brutal murder ran deep in the blood on both sides of her family.
  
  A half-drow, ridiculed as a child .. her mother seen as some sort of dark witch, Deirdre was born privileged and sheltered; briefly, her mother Jhaekryna had considered hiding her daughter's lineage with magic.. crafting for her daughter a magic ring -- but a child proved incapable of keeping secrets, and used the magic for mischief more then anything else.
  
  Dierdre was born illegitimate and the daughter of a monster out of fairy-tale; the bastard daughter born of two predators and though she shared many of the self-serving traits of her parents she lacked the size and strength of her father, taking more after her mother's petite frame, but likewise lacked her mother's talents for spell-craft.. a disappointment in accomplishment, she, unlike her father, unlike her mother had never had to claw or scrape for anything she ever gained. Life had simply been served to her on a silver platter, and she little desire for the company of those whom saw her as a half-breed.. and so, naturally? Though entitled, and willful she had always lacked the drive to excel or impress anyone.
  
  It wasn't until later in life, in her father's waning years that she began using her mother's magic ring to escape ... to try to see if she couldn't view the world from the eyes of someone whom was not the daughter of a dying Lord.
