• Essentials

  Given name: Alastriona. (AH-lass-TREE-uhnah - 'o' is almost silent.)
  ---Surname: "Darke". (This is an adopted name, rather than a maiden name or married one. It is not in paperwork or legal.)
  
  Diminutives: Alas. (Sounds like "Alice". It is acceptable for your character to assume upon hearing only this name that her name is Alice, until clarified.)
  
  Education*: Absolutely no form of traditional education or tutelage. Everything she knows she has learned from life experience, or was told by friends or family. It is safe to say that some or even much of her knowledge could be chalked up to little more than folklore.
  ---Literacy*: She cannot write well and has horrible penmanship. Alas' has a very difficult time reading, and is very self-conscious of her poor grasp of written language.
  ---Written languages*: "Common"/English (inept/poor understanding).
  
  Finances: Of no personal assets. That aside, she is well looked after.
  ---Occupation/Employ: A personal attendant and errand-runner, of sorts.
  
  Religion/Faith: A mash-up of pantheonistic references crammed together with peasant lore and fairytales, creating a confused, nature-centric belief system that is rather individual to her. The Fae, or 'The Good People', are very real to Alas', and are at once respected, revered and regarded with an apprehensive fear and awe - they are not gods to her, but beings who mutually inhabit this world. Her faith is focused on the chaotic, balancing aspects of nature, and the cycles of the seasons. She practices private rituals, prays, and is very supersitious of curses and bad magics.
  ---Alignment: Neutral Good with Chaotic tendencies.
  ---Patron Deities: The Green Spirit; The Tree Lady, Eanea; Ebsolsus, The Grey Beast.
  
  Marital Status: Bachelorette. Disinterested in marriage.
  
  Sexuality: Pansexual by default, heterosexual in terms of experience, but does not identify with any term. Extremely open to individuals of all shapes and sizes, but of high standards.
  ---Dominant/Submissive: A latent switch, and heavy masochist. While having a deep fondness for submission, it is a heavy influence of her past and not of her truest inclinations. She will only show real submission to those who have earned her trust, respect and her affections. There is an untapped desire to dominate and to control, but it is one unexplored; her sadistic tendencies supressed.
  
  Companion Animals: Dwyn, a kiwi bird, and Evander, a dodo bird.

  Mother: Ada, an unfortunate servant and maid. She has not seen her since the age of nine.
  Father: Until recent, an unknown and a stranger to the lynx, but she now has knowledge of who he is. She won't speak about it.

  Other Kin: Her maternal grandmother was around while she was still young, and Alas' remembers calling her the juvenile title, "Nooni".
