• Biography

  I was born in the big apple with my mother's hair and my father's eyes and we were one big happy family. Nah, that's horseshit. My mother had left Germany and the safety of her Family for the opportunities that the states presented and she snagged herself a manly man who wasn't afraid to hit her, because; hey, where was she going to run to?
  
  I grew up angry, but lived my life as best I could. We all have situations and we handled them ourselves. As soon as I could throw a punch, I got into boxing classes which I was pretty much addicted to on day one. All those years growin up with the violence and feeling so god damned helpless. It felt good, it felt righteous, and it kept me from blowing my top off and screamin at the world.
  
  Things got a little better when we left New York for another city with a long history but not quite the condensed population, that city was Salem. I went to High-school there and got into a few sports. I was pretty tough for a kid and the football coach pretty much bribed me to get on the team. The beatings had eased down on my mother a bit too, that was nice, you'd think if he was hitting women because he was stressed out he'd just get a punching-bag like I did. Things were about as normal as things got for anyone, and while our team didn't win regionals I got scouted by The Minutemen with that sweet scholarship, and that was a thing.
  
  Of course, why would I get a break? I was practically packing up to head to Boston and there was the shatter of dishes downstairs. I didn't find out what happened, but mom was on the ground crying and there was broken porcelain everywhere and there stood the Tyrant of My Childhood with fury in his eyes.
  
  I guess it was something that ran in the family, the mess wasn't pretty. I can't remember the fight well but I do remember the panic that came after when I couldn't find a pulse. Of course, why would he have a pulse? I broke his skull open on the counter-top. Mother and I hid the body and filed a missing persons report. She was my accomplice and for months I had this ache in my gut and this unrelenting clammyness of my hands. I couldn't focus and turned down the University. A semester later I did attend community college for a year, and then mother did herself in. Yea, my life is totally a sitcom.
  
  I couldn't enjoy the college life, school wasn't the same experience anymore. I dropped out and did some odd jobs, I learned to shoot a gun and I got a bulletproof suit. I'd sold the parents house and moved into a small flat close to the city clubs and lived a bachelors life. It wasn't too bad riding from short term pleasure to short term pleasure, fighting with all my mind to not have a thought.
  
  That sort of life worked for me up until the point I died, yea that's a thing too. Was walking home from work Bouncin at the local club and what I thought was a meth head pulled me into an alley. I broke a 2x4 over his noggin and he still kept coming. We fought and wrestled and he bit my neck several times and I did my best to keep him off me until I lost feeling in my toes and fingers and everything went limp. Turns out he was a vampire, and a hungry one too. He fed and my body felt like it was alight with hellfire and I thought I was going to swallow my tongue. I bit him back and tore flesh from his neck, and turns out I swallowed what I took. Who knew adrenaline fueled cannibalism would save my life?
  
  I lived the unlife for a while, walked the night and killed a few women with my feedings. I didn't mean to but they kicked and screamed and tore their own necks out. I did my best to leave them at least nearly alive though. I took another girl home, Rosalynn, I'm sure if I still had those hormones rushing through my veins just being around her would get me drunk. Turns out though she's also a vampire, and now I'm adopted.
