y character is a borzoi, also known as a Russian wolfhound.
Despite this, I have created her under loose inspiration of Romance cultures during the Middle Ages. Her name, Amada is of Latin origin (or Spain, if you prefer.) and her surname 'de Mortagne' of French/arguably Roman origin - but I envisioned the character as a mixture of English, French, and Spanish influences.
consider the genre I role play her in to lean more towards Medieval Fantasy rather than one of historical accuracy - more so a representation of the themes of chivalry and knighthood than of a specific culture in history. Also would be the Romantic era - in the way that romanticism reintroduced Medieval elements in Medievalism. So imagine a mixture of these things.
hat being said, one could consider her a mutt of sorts (for her breed) with the look of a borzoi/spaniel in mind, and for ethnicity a mixture of European.
I hope my loosely based creativity and lack of actual fact based material does not take away from any potential role play - and hope that you accept Amada with an open mind and a leniency towards my lack of historical knowledge.
also consider Amada to be an anthropomorphic being, a canine of the borzoi breed. I try not to acknowledge the difference between muzzle, flat faced etc and prefer to treat them as the same thing, just in terms of art they could be different visual representations. So if I have both varieties you can imagine whichever is to your liking.
