Loraen arrived not upon bare feet, but astride a creature so intensely predatory in its flight that had one but looked up, they'd have seen a dive-bombing pair of taloned front feet, and a gryphon bearing down upon the group of adventurers, swooping hell-for-leather into the sand dunes. Loraen drew rein on the creature, commanding in a voice that would have remarked as gruff or violent, no matter what she'd said, "Ausbeute, Severin, ausbeute!" With a bridle encircling its hooked, black beak, Loraen's steed reared back its head and screeched out a terrible, ear-splitting sound. As if the snapping gryphon wasn't enough defense, a long, jagged edged polearm sat across the lioness' shoulders, and encircling the woman's torso was a fitted breastplate. Vambraces protected forearms, while greaves surrounded her shins. "I saw some rustling from overhead. It's close."

Larger than a standard trail horse, smaller than a Clydesdale.
Aggressive - bitey.
Responds only to German/Alemanish commands, and even then, sometimes not at all.
Black fur, feathers, scales.
Yellow eyes.
Lion hindquarters, avian head and front legs.
Previously owned by Sumatra.
