SkillsSuturing: Loraen can sew to some degree and is no stranger to suturing a wound closed. It will by no means be a physician grade suture, though it'll likely get the job done in a pinch if there's no medic in sight. On that same note, she's an adequate mender of clothing, as well, though no seamstress.
Hunting: Time spent with Jacob has made Loraen a fearsome tactician. As a lioness and the matriarch of her pride, Loraen is a provider first and foremost, where Jacob is the protector of the pride. Loraen is fast and very strong for a woman of her size, affording her an edge.

RacismLoraen is severely racist towards Nekos. She will try to pretend she either cannot hear or see a Neko if one addresses her. This deeply seated prejudice was developed as a young girl growing up in Challis, where all of the townsfolk were esteemed, full blooded Felidae and Canidae men and women. In the societal hierarchies Humans (who were immigrants to Kasuria) were treated as second class citizens and when they began breeding with the Feline and Canine men and women, there was a response of violent outrage from the region. Their young -- Nekos -- are regarded as perverse abominations. Loraen grew up surrounded by this opinion and is inclined to agree with it as it was the norm to believe such creatures were wrongfully created.

Fur: Pale Goldenrod very light gold pigment with a gradient to cream toward her extremities (eyesockets, chest and belly, genitals and fingers as well as toes), with easily unnoticeable soft ivory markings on the brow, forearms and calves. Some are scars, some are natural coloration.
Texture: Soft, conditioned, short to midlong, not overly dense.
Scent: A sandalwood rose composition accented by muguet, jasmine and soft oriental nuances of musk, woods, opium and amber.
Maintenance: High, brushing every day or hair will begin to form dreads.
Eyes: Beryl and light steel blue (darker or lighter, day depending). Internal epicanthic fold and fox-slanted almond uptilt.
Hair: Lower middle back length, natural loose spiral curls, thick, raven in color, pulling blues.

Loraen's skin heals fairly well and most scars fade into the faintest of white lines. They are usually unnoticeable amidst her regular coloring and more often than not are mistaken for normal markings.
