Backstory

• Summary

  Left in the woods by her on-the-run parents, infants Zhauy and Zibler could have been picked up by anyone. The ones to find them? Mailiku, a young aspiring mage, son to the tyrant Saudia Zakiah. Being raised in his cruel hands started them off roughly in life, but they managed to escape and find a place to call home with Noriko Orrovoki. They would be the first of many to find home within her arms, leading to the creation of the Noriko House.
  
  Escaping Mailiku could only last so long, and Zhauy is unknowingly brought back into his clutches when she is anonymously given promise for answers to her own heritage. Mailiku is not one to keep promises, however, and when Zhauy denies compliance with his plans, Mailiku takes her life. She is taken to the afterlife - heaven - where she meets the Guardian Angel, Hacaeus, a man who watches over one of the inhabitants of the Noriko House. To pay back a favour to the house, Hacaeus gives Zhauy information on how to bring herself back to the mortal plane and she is able to successfully do so.
  
  When her time on earth wears thin a couple years later thanks to a loophole in her solution, Zhauy leaves home to live out the last of her days doing entirely what she wants. In the process, she meets a man named Spenser who sweeps her off her feet in a whirlwind romance that she allows herself to get tangled in, despite knowing her end is near.
  
  What she didn't know is that 'Spenser' was a Shapeshifter named Dante, and that the ring he gave her moments before her leaving the living would bind her to the living plane for eternity - except that ring would also subject her to his possession and could never be removed.
  
  Once she was able to break her mind from Dante's possession, thanks to her little brother Zibler, Zhauy spent her time staying as far away from Dante as possible so that she could not be used as a chaotic tool.
