The Nightmare

  Since I miss him so much, it's about high time I revive this character. Created back in the mid 2000's, he was based off of recurring nightmares I had in the past. Oddly enough, creating a character out of it actually helped, so thanks to him I no longer have those nightmares. It's one reason I'm so fond of him, actually.
  
  Secondly, I feel as if the way I used to RP him was... a little boring. Although his character is essentially the same, I'm making a few alterations in how I play him. Now he won't be 100% calm all the time, with a much wider range of emotions. He will feel pain, he will feel threatened. He can actually get drunk now (and not off grape soda; that idea was just... sigh)! He will be a dick, he will cause ruckuses, he will not expect to win anyone over. I think he'll be funner to play this way.
  
  I just want to have fun with him again, and I hope you will too.

  Age: Pretty dang old, maybe even ageless, but he looks 23.
  
  Height: 5'9''
  
  Appearance: Pale skin like fine china, with accents of gray or black where blush pink would normally be on a caucasian. Yellow eyes that seem to glow in the dark. Lavender-hued hair, slightly tousled, complete with hair curtains (a must-have for the best of villains). Pretty, youthful face and sunken, tired eyes.
  
  Fashion: Composed of mostly dark colors, mainly black. His go-to outfit is a black turtleneck with fitting black pants, though it can vary depending on the time period he's in.
  
  Personality: Mischievous, sassy, flamboyant and flashy. He doesn't expect anyone to like him (he IS a nightmare after all) so he takes advantage of this, messing with people and getting a kick out of getting on their nerves or spooking them silly. I suppose you could say he's a bit poltergeist-esque, minus the dead part. Though he normally puts on a calm and collected facade, he's easily excitable and can switch from quiet and placid to manic in a blink of an eye. He is, perhaps, a little bit unstable. He can also get touchy-feely, though it can be hard to tell if he's doing it ironically or not.
  
  Behavior: Though he's perfectly capable of walking like a normal person, he'd rather not. He likes to float. It's almost as if he hates touching the ground. He also likes engaging in certain activities like phasing through walls or floors (you'd swear he's a ghost but he's not).
  
  Strengths/abilities: Pretty agile, considering he can float and phase through things when he wants to. Can also cause people to hallucinate horrifying things. He can sneak his way into people's minds while they're sleeping, and once he's in the dream world, he's pretty much in charge. That world is his oyster. He can also shapeshift into a wolf-like monster, as well as distort his body. He can get injured and temporarily die, but always comes back later like an unwanted recurring dream. UNLESS he meets his demise with something in the next category.
  
  Weaknesses: Dream-eaters (including Bakus), dream-catchers (both the items and the entities).
  
  Likes: Scaring people, unnerving people. Creepy creatures. Blood and gore. He's also a masochist; if you hurt him he'll probably like it. The worse the better.
  
  Dislikes: Being ignored, things that can actually really 100% kill him. Sunny weather.
