About the People
They are somewhat gentle and regal people who like to keep the city and environment clean. Though they do not have many conflicts except for those who think they are above everyone else, they would instead raise the town equally like a family instead, and despise anyone else who seeks to destroy it.
While there is royalty ruling the city, the royal blood-line does not have anything special or anything genetic that make them superior except their extreme passion and daring courage. It is a privilege, and a ceremony is conducted in a temple when the sun is highest in the sky, and the moons share it.
It is said when royalty is chosen, the females of that accepted blood-line, by the power of their giant sun, can use the power of the sun to defend their home in extreme cases, but none are sure that the rumors and legends of it are true.
However, their peace is mostly disturbed by another city that is being ruled by an aggressive, power-hungry ruler that wants nothing but everything to be under his control by any means....so does his people.
He alone cast a powerful dark spell, a mysterious power that succeeded to separate the royal family during a brief war later on... The daughters of the royal family paid the price while they were fighting alongside with their people and were hit with this spell, and just like that, they were gone...
The Amuratans were able to fend off the dark king in the end, for now, but they mourn the loss of the royal daughters...

Do they have a God?
Yes and No? They worship three moons and one sun in their world. They believe the three moons work together to calm the giant red sun and gave life to the world by working together. While the sun does help life and give light, it can be destructive, and some even believe that the sun gave their people (females) the natural ability to control their own source of fire. Some even go as far to say that females were made by the sun, and males, the moons...Is it true? Yes, it is.

Differences between genders
Males

They have some fire resistance, but have extreme cold resistant skin. However, they still can get hurt if the fire/ice is strong enough
They are extremely strong and agile in whatever they do but lack in their natural power, fire. It will be a rare sight if a male can use this natural ability because they are formed to be much more physical where females lack.
Not only that their skeleton is denser and heavier, making them very sturdy and able to use their bodies as a battering ram.
They have venom that is transferred through their fangs/large canines if they bite someone and choose to inject them. It is made of strong hemotoxin and necrotoxin.
When they die, most males die at night with the three moons in the sky if it is because of natural causes. Their skin breaks, dries, and eventually, all turns to dust. This dust will get picked up by a mysterious wind that will leave a light outline shape of where the body was before three strands intertwine and float to the sky and break off towards the moons.
Females

They only have fire or 'heat' immunity but it is what makes them what they are. They are immune to any heat, magical or natural EXCEPT each others. Natural heat can/will heal them!
So in a sense, they can swim in lava and be fine. (Note: They cannot swim in lava because that is MOLTEN ROCK. Like quicksand, they would get sucked in and drown because they need air, but the heat is nothing to them.)
While they are not strong or fast, their endurance/stamina and fire abilities make up for it. Each of their own has different colors, can be used offensively and defensively. Their kind's flame can get to 10,800 F when used in combat. That's as hot as the surface of the sun (The sun, in their world, is twenty times hotter than the core of our sun, and that's only on the surface). It is a lot harder or impossible for them to get stronger physically as a male, though.
...It is said that only the female royal blood-line of the Amuratan has white fire...
When they die, most females die in the day with the giant red sun in the sky if it is because of natural causes. Their body is engulfed by their flame within their body and is turned to ash. Kind of like the male, an ash outline will represent where the body was...However, the fire does not disappear or get extinguished. It will gather into a small flaming ball of her rendered color of flame and then take off to the sun as a tiny meteor.

They both have heightened senses and a natural sense to alert them to danger, but it does not show them, unfortunately.
They have prehensile tails that can flex and grasp things to a certain degree by wrapping around an object. However, it is not strong enough to support their body weight but it is strong enough to lift and carry up to thirty pounds of weight at max. The strongest Amuratan tail was said to be able to hold and carry a small child around!
Their skin has no pores and extremely water resistant; therefore, they do not sweat, and water rolls off. They only drink water to regulate somewhat of a regular temperature, especially females. If they do not drink their skin would be at least 175 degrees to the touch or worse, but they can still function normally. While they do not feel the effects... it makes contact with other species easier.
Their hair is also water and fire resistant, so it does not catch on fire, even if it is each other's fire. In more detail, they were made to withstand high temperatures of heat, females the most. Flame is nothing but the high temperature in the air and so is magma except with dirt and rock. They will get dirty if anything. Water is also used to not only regulate their temperature, but it is used to cleanse themselves especially if it is scented (Yes they bathe). So It is always dry and very soft.
Amuratans are most feared because of their range of fighting styles in combat/war. While most are scared of the fire attributes that can be used long range, physical combat is quite close to it at as well. Males and some physically honed females have extraordinary physical combat capabilities, but only a few and the elite are able to adapt a little fire to the mix... It is not as strong as a fire-honed female could use it, but it is enough to add a little more intensity to a weapon that can slice through any other armor or weapon like it is air.
