• Description

  Serena is of obvious Italian descent with olive skin and dark brown hair, if her Italian accent and area of residence isn't apparent. She is often seen in wine-colored robes with a walnut leather underbust corset. Many straps and belts wrap around her torso beneath a billowing velvet cloak, including a heavy belt with an Assassin's insignia as the buckle. Knee-high leather boots adorn her feet and lower legs with a heel short enough to allow swift maneuvering and easy seating in a saddle. Above her black coal leggings bound with sinew and residing below the posture-straightening hold of her corset is a loose, off-white blouse that tucks into her breeches and puffs out from underneath the various bracers and straps that cling to her arms. Of particular importance is a thick bracer on her left hand, its surface engraved with elaborate decorations encircling another Creed insignia.
  
  With green eyes that call to an unsuspecting victim and brunette curls that gently obscure her left eye, Serena appears to be a suspicious individual if one stares for too long; yet rarely will she give someone the chance.

• History

  Born of the house of Rosso, Serena is the daughter of the obscure painter Lorenzo di Rosso. With his passion and subsequent lack of funds, Serena discreetly took to the streets in search of means to aid both her and her father. The young thief found herself tangled in a nasty affair whilst relieving a noble of his excess bread, consequently catching the man of significance with a mistress. Outraged, he delivered the scar that permanently dwells on her hand, and she would have suffered much more had a cloaked rescuer not intervened.
  
  It was then that she learned of the Creed -- at the tender age of eight, thusly only hearing a basic concept of it -- and felt a debt owed to her savior. Since then, she has been a loyal follower in her own way, and accepts every mission without verbal question. Mental, however, is far from desirable to that of her superiors; but, as she puts it, omission is not a crime so much as a useful tool at her disposal.
