• Bio/Backstory

  This is a character that for some reason no one will let die, not for lack of trying; she should probably be some sort of undead ten times over by now. I created her almost a decade ago, and has since made appearances in multiple campaigns, games, and universes.
  
  Carmen (or Tamorah, her real name), was originally supposed to be a very simple wandering gypsy, but over time mutated into a pyromaniac gold-eating monster.
  
  Resembling a red-headed Inspector Gadget on angel dust, calling her an adventurer would be like calling a rapist an enthusiastic cuddler. She is the idiot savant of the engineering world, and creates most of her gizmos from pure luck as she knows nearly nothing about how she actually makes them or how they work.
  
  It seems her only motivators in life are gold (which she never seems to spend), and boredom. The gold lure came from one of her earliest story arcs where she was employed by goblins as cannon fodder. She is a half breed dwarf-human, but basically looks like a powerlifting 12 year old.
  
  Her muscular build comes from her origins as a slave laborer, sold by elves to the goblins to work in their mines. Noting her unusual strength, hardiness, and dexterity, they had her trained and used her as an agent during a rather profitable war.
  
  I generally role play her as intensely stupid as a foil for how ridiculously overpowered she becomes in campaigns, due to class/skill and roiding out her luck and charisma. Her actual intellect is most likely much higher, but since the character has the depth of a toilet bowl I generally don't bother with that unless the story-line calls for or requires it.
  
  Fun to roleplay, nonetheless, as comedic relief. However, having had her resurrected and placed in so many different games, going into her "story" would probably end up becoming a novel that even Tolkien couldn't follow.
