• Short Biography

  Ydrakthun is a collector of martial knowledge and technique. He gathers the methods of anything combative from hand-to-hand, to fencing, to techniques of ill repute. Each skill he accumulates is eidetic and reflexive, stored in both his mind and muscle, allowing him to replicate any number of abilities - albeit mundane and combat oriented ones - with the grace and skill of those he witnessed them from.
  
  This attribute - his martial oriented mind - is the result of a gift passed down from his mother. It is clearly notable in the color of his eyes, which unlike other worgs who wield hellfire in their vision - blood reds, fiery oranges, and gilded yellows - his eyes emit a lustrous sterling silver glow. These eyes are unusually perceptive and can see through true darkness, catch unusually miniscule details, and can peer vast distances with intense sharpness.
  
  This gift, nurtured by his mother from a young age, has set his path from birth. To be a collector of knowledge so that it may be shared among the worg. This ability would lable him a shaman - one of a variety of shaman among the worg - who would share his gift with young warriors from around the world. However, due to rivalries among shaman and the competitive and sadistic nature of the worg, his mother was slain and he was given a brand of shame. A mark of domination, burned upon his face with metal, that shunned him among the worg - labeling him weak.
  
  Determined - and stubborn - to not fail his mother, or accept that he was weak, he took oil and a torch and immolated the left side of his face where the brand had imbedded its mark in his flesh. The flesh rolled away at the point of impact on his cheek and the young boys face melted as fire consumed it. The brand was burned away along with youthful visage.
  
  With little desire to live in the world of worgs, he moved on. He continued his education, from the age of eleven when he left his mother buried in the cold earth, traveling the world in search of war. How it worked and its effect on the world. With his quick grasp of combat he impressed and collected teachers and mentors from all corners.
  
  It wasn't long until he graduated from the college that is the world and went on to seek teaching others. As his mother had always desired from him - only now he had no intention of ever strengthening any worg. He now spends his time tutoring others in the ways of combat and at the same time tries to pass on other lessons to create greatness in others and help them see their potential.

• Armor

  Ydrakthun wears a custom armor set designed for flexibility and protection. While not offering as wide range of motion as no armor at all, or even lighter armors, he is still able to perform many difficult functions in it, including climbing, swiming, and some acrobatics. The torso is riveted iron ringmail embeded between sheets of leather. The chest is protected by a T-shaped piece of steel that protects his sternum, lungs, and heart. His arms are protected by leather, almost solely, reaching out into fingerless gloves onto his hands. Over the forearms, however, are overlapping steel plates, riveted into the leather as well as steel over the backs of the hand, which extends slightly over the knuckle with a point-like shape. His upper legs are leather armor with iron shaped wedges over the front of his thighs, and his greaves have metal that protect the front of his lower legs, strapped around the leather boots he wears. He also carries a shield. The shield is a simply designed piece. It has a heraldic shape, rimmed in iron with an iron core.

  Beaked Morningstar
  Designed specifically for maximum potential damage to armored targets, this barbaric weapon is capable of penetrating field plate with it's beak or delivering lethal concussive blows with its heavy, iron spiked head.
  
  Beareded Axe
  This well crafted, but simple duelist axe has a bearded, iron axe-head and spiked, armor piercing counter-balance.
  
  Two-handed Scimitar
  This gift is a masterwork blade of steel. Simple in design it is a perfectly balanced, curved longsword.
  
  Long Dagger
  The long iron blade is simple in design with a tapered point and a narrow, triangular shape.
  
  Throwing Darts
  These iron darts are a single piece of iron weighted properly for medium range throwing. Hidden in one of the satchels on his belt.
  
  Eye Crushers
  Eggs shells filled with a mixture of metal shavings, coarse sand, and peppers. Hidden in one of the satchels on his belt.
  
  Caltrops
  Iron jacks with four pointed ends. Hidden in a satchel on his belt.

• Strengths and Skills

  Ydrakthun, outside of combat, is a powerful athlete. He has a peak level of strength among worgs, pushing all of his physical strengths to their maximum. This makes him excel at tasks such as climbing, swimming, running, leaping, et cetera. He is excellent at most physical sports and has some if not a great deal of experience in many of them.
  
  Physical attributes aside, he is also a scholar. His intellect and wisdom are mostly combat oriented and he is an able teacher in the subject of warfare. He is learned in subjects of tactics, strategy, history of wars and conflicts, siege and war economics, ethics, physical training, combat techniques, and negotiation and wartime politics. He is able to read, write, and speak common tongue and several worg dialects.
  
  His eyes bring in a great deal to his strengths. He is able to see in absolute darkness, including artificial darkness. He can notice and is highly aware of even minute details and he can see at vast distances with great sharpness.
  
  Physically, other than being a strong warrior, he is highly resistant to the elements. Cold and heat do not bother him and he can tolerate desert heat and the frigid blast of a tundra. This resistance to the elements allows him to maintain stamina even in the harshest climates.

• Weaknesses

  Despite his athletic level of speed, balance, and agility he still remains a large, heavy male. This limits his acrobatic talents as well so that some agile techniques are just beyond his grasp. It also leaves him a broad target against some attacks which may limit his possible defenses.
  
  His appearance is a drawback in many social situations. He often uses humor to dismiss his maimed appearance, however it is a sore spot for him. Both literally and emotionally. Strikes to the soft tissue of his wounded visage cause a great deal of pain. And, while it is an emotional sore spot for him, it is not because he is ugly, but rather it is a reminder of passed shame. Simple taunts of his lack of beauty will not cut deep, but a well placed insult could have devastating effects.
  
  The main weakness of his eyes is their photo-sensitivity. Worgs are nocturnal and although Ydrakthun lives in the light - avoiding the nocturnal lifestyles of worg - he is still easily blinded by bright or sudden lights.
  
  Finally, while not a limitation of his mind or body, he adheres to a strict code of conduct. He will never attack a person who is weak or unable to defend themselves, regardless of their innocence. He will never attack a person by surprise or engage a single opponent with allies with the intention to kill. He will not kill an opponent who yields. He will not use long range weapons such as crossbows, bows, or siege weapons - though he will use throwing weapons such as spears - as he feels they are unfair. He will not tolerate torture in any form. While his code may be viewed as good natured, Ydrakthun is not of good alignment, he merely respects his own honor and pride. He will not step outside of the boundaries of his code - to do so or be forced to do so could cause lasting distress, damage to his pride or even to his mental stability - but he will not engage in situations to help others unless he has a personal stake in it.

  A varied scale of creatures below average. They may struggle with tasks in the fields of weakness and fail often.
  
  5 : Average Mortal
  This is the basic standard for all regular mortals. They can handle day to day activities with little or no difficulty and with cooperation are capable of taking on difficult tasks within reason.
  
  6-7 : Above Average Mortal
  A varied scale of creatures above average. They excel at these fields and are more likely to succeed when given tasks in these fields. A blacksmith for instance would have above average strength and possibly dexterity.
  
  8 : Peak Mortal
  Peak mortality is the maximum one can achieve without magic or super natural abilities. It is Olympic level strength in strength or extremely high IQ in intelligence.
  
  9 : Super Mortal
  Super mortal stats are stats that are beyond what mortals can achieve and may seem like super powers. In strength this might mean the ability to lift objects as heavy as a car with some stress or in magical aptitude it might mean the ability to defy death as a lich or destroy large buildings.
  
  10 : God Like
  God Like means that you are at the ultimate of that ability. While others might be god like as well, no one surpass you. A creature with god like strength could become an unstoppable force or a creature with god like speed could move faster than the eye could see.
