• Description

  Marid was a curious creature to behold. It was immediately apparent that he was not human, though he was of flesh and blood like anyone. His features were unnatural and because of that slightly exaggerated but he was fair to the eyes and undeniably charismatic.
  
  His movements held that same unnatural quality to them. Each measured gesture was calculated to a perfection that made it seem like he was pretending; as though he were a puppeteer making a marionette of flesh and blood and sinew dance.
  
  He often went bare-chested. Well defined muscle taut and defined. Baggy pants of white, tied together with a cloth belt of red hid his lower form until his feet. Footware of choice for this dangerous creature being sandals, of course. His toes long and their nails neatly kept.
  
  When armed, the Djinn preferred a longer blade that curved into a smile. The metal was soft and supple, easily bending but always snapping back in place by finely forged steel. He often poisoned his blades for effect, too.

• Powers and Weaknesses

  The male possessed a strength greater than his human appearance suggested. This made him a formidable opponent in hand to hand combat. He was also able to manipulate wind and could even fly for short periods of time at speeds comparable to a running horse.
  
  Marid also has some powers of suggestions over weaker minds, able to induce sleep and drowsiness by mere force of will alone.
  
  He was weak to iron in that he found the smell to be intolerable. It stung his eyes and made him cough and gag in the same way tear gas might.
