    gl-38127-1408666225.jpgThe Seraph lands with a hollow 'thump', both his feet and hands hitting the ground with a bit of force as he lands. Ten foot wings spread to their full length, wind dieing down around him as his mussed coppery-brown hair settled down on his head looking quite the mess. His wings gave one last stretch before folding against his back pressed flat to his spine as he stood up straight brushing dirt from his hands. Pulling a thin t-shirt over his well toned chest, he felt a bit tight and uncomfortable. Looking back with a sigh he concentrated on his wings until they crumpled into the flesh of his back and arms out of the away, able to be recalled on a whim at any given moment should he choose. As he began walking through the city streets he would offer a kind smile to those he passed, no one would guess he was an Archangel fallen from grace and chosen to be one of the deliverers of punishment. He lived in the belly of hell his entire life. The centuries of breathing in sulfuric air has caused his brain to go haywire on occasion, humans call it a bi-polar disorder.

    When you think of angels you think clouds, white cloaks, and of course the halo and trumpets. All lovely and beautiful right? Wrong. Kushiel doesn't know the meaning of beauty, once a valiant angel of the lord he had fallen from grace in a heated moment of anger against his fellow angels. Jealousy wasn't allowed in the lord's kingdom though after the fight against Lucifer Micheal became the favorite and Kushiel couldn't stand it!
    He had done his own part same as the others! He aided in the killing of that devil earning himself his own weapon endowed with the flames of hell! It wasn't enough though, the Lord had his pet Micheal and ignored the others who fought so well in the battle. That damned trumpet blower got all the glory leaving the others to pick up the pieces and clean his messes.

    Kushiel could no longer take it, he wanted the glory, the love, the favoritism, he wanted to be in the spotlight too! But one can't pick a fight in Heaven without consequences, for the crime of jealousy and fighting with a fellow angel he was cast to the pits of hell. His halo taken and wings stained with soot as he fell from grace down through the darkness to the deepest parts of hell where he was given his new task and reason for existence. He spent many centuries completing his task of punishing the most rotten souls sent into oblivion using his whip of flames, once a symbol of his triumph over Satan now was just a tool for him to do his job.

    As the many years passed Kushiel spent much of his time dreaming of a place to call his own, a place away from the fire, destruction, anger, sadness, and pleading screaming souls. The longer he spent in hell the more the sulfur clouds affected his mind, the want to leave the emotions and oblivion around him the more he became a bit twisted and unable to control his mind and urges. Humans call it 'bi-polar disorder' but the other angels call him insane. When it became apparent he wasn't of much use in his position he was moved, the powers that be decided he was better suited as a messenger between the various afterlives. After a few trips he came to enjoy the afterlife known as 'Valhalla' the land of vikings, battles, and feasts. Something Kushiel craved dearly, they didn't punish him for his aggressive ways and want for battle, no.. They were different, the land of vikings rewarded his need for blood!

    It was in this place he met his first real true friend, a viking who matched his need for battle and blood. A brother in battle and his best friend even on the day they both were sent to Earth. One to fill a book with names damning them to hell for eternity, the other to watch over and protect.

    To this day he passes himself off as a human, hiding within modern society trying his best to keep his angelic identity hidden.
