• Description

  Salena is rather average at first glimpse. Her skin is rather pale despite being on the track team. She just can not tan. She tends to lean towards comfortable clothing that keeps attention off of her. Sometimes she will put make up on, it just depends on the kind of day it feels like she's going to have. She is rather smart, but has intentionally stopped answering questions in class or trying on assignments, again to stay as little noticed as possible. She usually has an ipod with her to drown out the people around her, or a book to look busy. She tends to wear sneakers, always ready to jog when needed. She alternates her hair between up and down. Occasionally she wears the necklace she was found with and earrings.

• Background

  Salena Wolfe was adopted after being found as a child in the woods, unconscious. There were no records of her, and no one came to her as family or guardian. After she recovered with only a scar on the back of her neck, she was placed for adoption. A lone woman came to adopt Salena and raised her as her own.
  
  From childhood on, Salena suffered from what she thought was delusions. She sees shadows moving around her, she hears things she swears are not there, and occasionally weird things happen around her. She has no idea why, or what is going on and it makes her childhood tough as kids find her "odd". Salena's adopted mother knows of her from her past, but has not let on to that wanting Salena to live as normal as possible.
  
  Starting in high school she immediately put herself as an outcast. She suffered enough in younger grades and just wanted to get through this torture. Her adopted mother tries to encourage her to take on a sport or something and attempt to be normal. Salena tries track and falls in love with it.
  
  The odd visions started to slow down, but occasionally they still happen, especially when she does cross country. Sometimes this interferes with her ability to focus on school or track and sometimes causes her to run off for a few days.
  
  She's not against making new friends, she's just not sure how to approach people, especially when it seems most would rather not deal with her.
