A silhouette? No. A slender creature clad in onyx from head to toe. The illusion cast was due in part to his form-fitting armour, a combination of leather and mail, and to his obsidian flesh. The latter of which was smooth and appeared violet hued in some lighting. Though underneath his armour or piwafwi, his skin was covered with dints and the scars of old wounds where a blade or whip once came in contact with him. Short for a human, and positively minuscule for a furre, Dyce falls just above the centre of what might be considered the average spectrum of height for a male drow. Boy’s ears were uncharacteristically long, even for Drow; and he had a pair of robust purple lips and an uppity nose dotted the centre of his pointed face. His eyes did not fare as fortunately as some of his other features. They were milky and empty due to a genetic defect at 
birth, creepy was the word his peers oft used to describe them. Drowling, typical of his race, had snowy white hair. Rather than wear his locks long, as was the norm, the rebellious lad had taken to styling it into a quiff and making it more unruly with salt water spray. Given the chance, he’d keep the sides shorn into a tight undercut. His posture wasn’t the best, he moved almost like an automaton. Lad's expressions and countenance oscillated between stoic and malevolent.

Like most drow, he can hover a few inches over the ground for a short period of time. The only magic spell he is capable of performing is conjuring "faerie fire," a blue flame that causes no harm but illuminates a small radius. Occasionally Dyce wears a pair of goggles with darkening lenses to help him see better whilst on the surface.
