Imaginative, frugal, She keeps her house obsessively clean and organized, but her desk is always messy.

• Selene's Backstory

  Selene was in her last year of high school when her then-boyfriend, Julian, knocked her up, bringing her life to a grinding halt, and forcing her to drop out of school. Her parents, who were insistent on her having an abortion were less than pleased with her decision and she quickly cut off ties with them in favor of moving into her boyfriend's mother's basement.
  
  Things were more or less okay, though she had a hard pregnancy, until a year after Milena was born, when they started to notice developmental issues in the child. The diagnosis of Autism was devastating to Selene and unacceptable to her boyfriend, who immediately kicked them out of the house to fend for themselves, not wanting to have to care for a 'broken' child his entire life. Selene has done the best job she knows how to, doing the work of two parents, and makes a lot of mistakes, but is constantly learning and growing.
  
  Frugal to a fault, and willing to do a little hard work, she recently bought a foreclosed on home in the rural outskirts of the city. Though fairly large, the house is in decrepit shape, which is why she got it at such a steal of a price, or so she thought. Within days of moving in, however, she's started to notice things aren't quite right. The house creaks and groans at all hours. The saircase to attic is nowhere to be found, and things she puts down disappear and reappear elsewhere hours later. Her technology doesn't work at random intervuls, and the lights often flicker. Perrhaps more worryingly, her Daughter talks of a friend that lives in her walls.
