The Lady Nightstar
Swathed in a magnificent and opulent red cloak, and surrounded by an almost palpable aura of raw and untamed magic.. this figure does not pass by unnoticed. Tall, elven and of indeterminate age, she carries herself with an air of confidence and noble, straight-backed posture.
In stark contrast to her bold cloak, the colours of her person seem washed out; opalescent porcelain skin is scarred here and there with marks of battle, and most notably her face, where a large scar cuts across her left cheek to the temple.
Behind her, a mass of long silver hair falls in waves to her mid-back.
Her armour-less garb screams of enchantments and spellary, and is glittered throughout with draconic runes intricately embroidered into the fabric. She must be unfazed by the cold, as her arms and midrift remain bare in all weather. And when her cloak is removed, her slim body is decorated with tribal-looking tattoos from the neck down.
An elven longsword hangs comfortably and openly at her left side, oddly juxtaposed against an outfit that otherwise smells of sorcery and magic. However, a trained eye may pick out the muscles in her back and shoulders, or the calluses on the palms of her hands that hint at her ability to use it.
Her tall boots are comfortable, leaning more to adventuring than fashion, and a simple looking wedding band adorns the fourth finger of her left hand.
Like all elves her facial features are angular, with large eyes and ears and a face that is often steeled in thought. She has an expressive mouth, and when engaged in active conversation she is quick to smile or laugh, despite her otherwise icy countenance.
Her eyes are piercing, icy blue and cold, with a penetrating look that sometimes.. just maybe, might be laced with just a little madness...
