    My real life is busy, so I tend to post three to four times a week. My posts tend to be a couple paragraphs in length at a minimum.

    Related to the above, I prefer to RP with individuals able to post around the same amount. I, personally, feel one to three lines is not enough to keep a scene moving.

    I’m happy to talk OOCly about RP (scene ideas, character questions, etc), but I keep my real life private. This doesn’t mean I’m not friendly - I’m just not one for small talk.

    IC and OOC are two separate things, and I get weirded out by people that can’t appreciate the difference.

    RP should be fun. I also get weirded out by people who can’t appreciate that.=)

    I will only RP on RP Repository or, on rare occasions, Furcadia (However, I’ve found I’m rarely on Furc long enough to engage in meaningful RP).

    I will not RP with anyone under the age of 18.

  • RP Thoughts/Scenes

    I’ve tried to keep the world imagined in this character’s profile broad enough that it will admit most any other fantasy character types, even species of dragons not in a state of decline.

    Also, these are just suggestions. I am open to other suggestions.

    Unusual arranged marriage. Wintermote’s people are in need of allies, and they would certainly agree to a marriage as a way to cement an alliance. In this scenario Wintermote, who ranks highly among her people, would be wed to a suitable match from her people’s new allies in order to finalize a diplomatic agreement. The hitch, in this scene, would be that the only suitable match would be another woman. Because neither side would wish to jeopardize the treaty, plans for the marriage would go forward. (Perhaps it’s a cultural first. Perhaps one or both women are less than enthused with the prospect. Regardless, it seems like there’s the potential for it to be interesting.)

    Slavery. While she waits for a suitable diplomatic marriage, perhaps it is agreed that Wintermote might have a female slave as a temporary companion. The slave may be purchased at a bazaar, fully or partially trained. Or, perhaps, there are prisoners taken after a recent military campaign and Wintermote, not afraid of a challenge, opts to begin training from scratch.

    Conquered. Perhaps her people finally fall. Many are put to the sword but not all. Wintermote might be seen to have value for several reasons. Perhaps her rank is such that it seems wise to keep her around, nevermind her kind’s downfall. Perhaps her knowledge of the arcane is sufficient that the one doing the conquering would wish to either keep her for that knowledge or sell/trade her to someone/thing that would desire it. Perhaps she is a mere object of curiosity or lust on account of her unusual appearance. In some of these instances, it is likely Wintermote could be persuaded to be… relatively cooperative. In others, not so much.
