All information below is OOC only and provided purely to show the aspects of Yokan that are not seen initially, what is exhibited outside the cages or among people he is comfortable with.
To be Noted: This is a character very much in flux. The story of his history is a record of who he was, how he thought before being captured. While it is an amazing story (if I do say so myself) and I have left hints within it that show his true nature, it is based off his acts as a Water Shaman, not necessarily as the man he really is. He is still learning who he is behind all the conditioning, philosophy, rules, and expectations foisted on him. The page below seeks to clarify that there IS a different between Yokan as a shaman, and as an actual person.

Scent: His natural scent is of magnolia, leather, and dank swampland, which gets stronger when he is angry. His scent, like most of his nonverbal cues, can tell a lot about his mood should anyone be keeping an eye on it.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Likes: Darkness, mechanical devices, new magic, warmth, large or muscular males and females, live prey, hunting, natural environments, shiny things, whittling, learning new things, pancakes, sucker for kids.
Dislikes: lots of noise, bright lights, fire, disrespect, being touched from behind, Most human women, perfume, cold, ferals (except for eating).
Pet Peeves: rudeness (from slaves or others), ignorance, people touching his ears, pessimism.
Quirks: Frequently sleeps with his eyes open, gives off more non-verbal signals than tone of voice, clicks when happy, rubs his ears or dreadlocks when stressed, enraged by being in close proximity to fire, finds body hair highly amusing.
Closet Hobby: Singing, dancing.
Guilty Pleasures: making people orgasm, making the wrong decision if said decision is based off his heart or instinct, violently tearing things (or bad people) up, cuddles, following his heart over his mind.
Secret Desire: To have children.
Strengths: Disarmingly charming, logical, intelligent, quick learner, adaptable, optimistic, loyal, lacks the capability for jealousy, polite, eloquent, poetic, calm, level-headed, curious, passionate.
Flaws: Questioning, arrogant, often reckless, inadvertently flirtatious, stubborn, naive. Completely clueless when it comes to flirting or come ons.
Instincts: Survive and thrive, gain knowledge of any form, protect others, follow/hunt small ferals, be 'connected' with water.
Lures: friendly Masters or Mistresses, other magic users, the chance to hunt or be in the wild, hot baths, sharing Transfers, obscure knowledge, shark meat, muscular men or women.
Soft Spot: Other scaled beings, birds, damsels in distress, children, his 
Mean Streak: People getting what they deserved, more physically assertive around fire, wyrmmes.
Prejudices: Human women are vicious, wyrmmes, Others (the term he broadly uses for anyone NOT crocodilian. This prejudice usually comes out in 'oh those silly fleshies' kind of way), unicorns.
Scarring: Ritual scarification is a way of life for the Au'lessi, though any scars from battle are worn with pride. Those scars that are made with intent, however, are cut in such a way as not to damage the actual flesh beneath their leathery hides, but draw it out. The effect is both a reward and a means of survival, allowing them to feel as normal people do in those areas. The scars are incredibly sensitive to the touch (like the underside of an arm or the inside place between torso and thigh.). They allow Yokan to also be able to detect minute changes in his environment he might otherwise miss (like a vague drop in temperature or a change in pressure while swimming that might indicate an approaching predator)
Hair: For the same reason as the scars, Yokan's scalp is also sensitive as well as his eyebrows, where natural flesh shows through scales. Au'lessi always wear their hair long, able to make more minute detections they might miss otherwise.
Ticklish: Yokan has several places where his scales are thinner than the rest of his body, these areas generally being somewhat nice feeling-ticklish. Particular places are: under the chin, right at the back of the neck along the scalp line, down the center of the lower stomach below the belly button, underneath the base of his tail, behind his ears and the sides of his feet. The few people who have found out have attacked him mercilessly, so he's more reluctant to allow anyone's hands to get near those spots.
Interesting Tidbits
The random shit Yokan picks up. They aren't skills per-se as he's barely tried them, but mostly are simply things he's seen and can likely mimic to a certain extent unless they are based off muscle memory.

Hair: He loves brushing it, braiding it, playing with it, washing it.
Each element effects Yokan differently mentally when he is in its raw presence, with or without the influence of a suppression collar. It is an instinctual reaction, the core of being born with the Blessing. Different shamans are attracted to different elements in particular, Yokan's is water.
Water: Affects him the most deeply, obviously. In its presence he is at his most serene and comfortable. Addicted to its properties, he literally can't help himself from touching it. According to his religion, following the path of water is that of expansion of the mind and the balancing of the self. Sometimes this means letting offences be dropped in lieu of acting only when it is necessary. This is the standard state Yokan is in.
Fire: Affects him chaotically, making him more wild and on edge. It puts him ill-at ease because he respects its raw power and knows how it upsets most of his attempts at balancing. Following the path of fire is about learning to trust both magical and base animal instincts and being true to oneself, no matter the consequences.
Stone: Doesn't affect him as much, but still gives him a sense of detachment and clarity. Following the path of stone is the removal of the individual from all things completely and focus on the world outside of oneself entirely. Stone is about seeing things on a grander level rather than the singular being.
Air: Has an affect on him, not as strongly as fire and not as minorly as stone. Air and water are two things that tend to work together well, air being that which pushes water further, and so he has a unique relationship with it. The path of air is about the constant changing and evolving of the person and their role to affect their environment.
Very few are so fortunate as to find themselves in the presence of someone who truly loves them for who they are, no matter the consequences.
