Abilities

  • Just a Spark

    An elemental wielder of lightning, Claire has a set of developing skills used in combat and daily life.
    • Static: When nervous or excited, Claire's pelt sometimes becomes electrically charged. The strength of this shock can very from a weak to moderate static shock, just enough to cause discomfort.
    • Sparks: Small fragments of electricity that escape her form when startled or angry. Usually these are a result from a lack of control. However, she uses this quirk as an intimidation technique, when she feels threatened.
      Bolt: A surge of energy capable of stunning an opponent.
    • Detection: Very weak, but the ability to detect the presence of hidden individuals through emitting static signals that resonate with a body's natural electric pulses, a similar concept to echolocation. This ability does not come naturally to Claire, and requires deliberate focus, thus rendering it useless in most cases.
    • Charged Blade: Using electric energy, Claire can stream electricity through her blades, either saber or dagger, to inflict extra damage.
    • Stimulated Healing: Weak electrical impulses can be utilized to stimulate healing in others. This effect occurs naturally for Claire.
    • Stormchaser: Attuned with electrical fields and currents, Claire can feel when a storm is approaching.

  • Surprising Skills

    • Ballroom Dance: Though she's no expert, coming from a royal-type background, Claire was taught in formal dances. She doesn't dance much, and is quite rusty, but she enjoys it, nonetheless.
    • Singing: Sometimes can be seen and heard singing to herself. She is surprisingly good.
    • Trapping: Spending time in the woods, Claire learned how to build basic traps for small prey.
    • Survival: Those who travel alone need to know how to survive on their own. Claire is knowledgeable in living off the land, creating shelters, identifying edible plants, building fires and the like.
