• Description

  This lupine fellow always seems to look rather stern, head held up high and yet seeming so tense, as if he would carry the weight of the world on his strong shoulders. With imposing 1,92 m in height and 101 kg of weight, Alastair's heritage from a long line of soldiers and police officers is obvious. Rather husky in stature, he probably appears even more imposing, maybe even threatening when wearing his uniform and/or combat gear. When not working, he usually dons a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt or a shirt.

• Biography

  Born to Richard Malcolm MacCallion and Alyth MacCallion, born Ruskin, his childhood had been mostly average. His parents cared for him, he went through all the steps of average education.
  However it was not all sunshine either. Both his father and mother served - his father as a soldier, his mother as a medic, so they moved rather often and often he was home alone until his parents returned from work. His father also was deployed in foreign countries several times, leaving his family for months to fulfill his duty.
  
  This all made it difficult to get attached to anyone besides his parents. He only had a few friends in his whole life and usually this friendship didn't go very deep either. Everything changed when he finished school and had to think of his future. His parents urged him to go to college and do something with his life - having a safe life, finding a woman he would want to spend the rest of his life with and have a family...but he didn't see himself slaving on at some desk, going back home at evening, kissing his wife and spending time with his children. Still, he did at least partially what his parents hoped he would do, but in his very own way. He enlisted in the army, as his family had no money to pay for his college education at all, and instead studied at a military college.
  As he went through basic training, his struggles with social interaction finally seemed to be over - he found friends in his fellow soldiers, joking, talking...just being carefree around them. He also was an exemplary soldier, so once he had his college degree, it was an obvious choice to enter a program to be trained as an officer.
  While he somewhat lost touch with his friends, who moved on as enlisted soldiers, he still felt understood among his colleagues.
  
  Soon after finishing officer training, he was sent to the front to fight for some cause or another. After all everyone knows, only few wars were actually fought for any reason besides money nowadays. Still, he was proud to serve and fulfill his duty. That was until his unit got into an ambush, many of the men and women he considered friends being killed or crippled. If not for the support of an allied military helicopter, his whole unit probably would have been wiped out. Alastair was thrice during the ambush - one shot penetrating his left shoulder, two others getting stuck in his abdomen. He and the other survivors were brought to the closest military hospital, where the surgeons, doctors and medics did their best to save as many as possible. From the 12 soldiers in his unit only 3 survived - him being the luckiest, one losing his right arm and another being paralegic for life.
  Alastair recovered from his wounds and thanks to rehab it is as if he never had been shot, but his mind did not recover from it. Feeling the pain of losing so many people he cared about, he could not stand the thought of getting attached to someone, just to lose him or her again. Soon after the incident and his homecoming, he quit the army and instead joined the police. His prior experiences made him a good police officer, especially when things got tense, so it did not take for long until he was recommended for a special unit. This international special unit, consisting of four officers, has but one goal: to stop criminal syndicates and terrorists wherever possible with whatever means necessary.
