This letter is to inform you of the impending transfer from the Boston, Massachusetts headquarters to the city of New Versailles, located in Louisiana. There will be no raise, nor will there be any 'sweet prototype technology' to test. Honestly, we don't know where you get these crazy ideas.
This isn't fiction, nor will it ever be.
You'll be following up on some strange happenings which we believe to be nothing more than false rumours and accusations. You are to establish your own field office, we will give you a small stipend to do so. Once your field office has been set up you are to immediately speak to us for briefing.
Just because you will not have a handler, does not mean you are not to be professional. We expect you to handle this like a government agent and you do not have a license to 'turn up' as you've been quoted as saying.
