• Most calls are routine then every once in a while you get that call where all hell's breaking loose; you've got structure going up with people inside. To most people it looks like a blazing monster, but I understand how it behaves, how it progresses, the airflow, the ventilation, the materials, flashpoints, construction styles. I know how to get in and I know to get out. I know where I can go, I know where I can't go. Things like that.
  
  But to the people inside all they see is fire and smoke, y'know? Just heat and blackness. And sometimes they it happens where that person is trapped inside and they don't wanna go. They panic, they freeze. Because where I need to take them seems a hell of a lot worse than where they are still alive.
  
  I get them to focus on me. I try to get their eyes, I try to get their full attention. Even through the mask and the ventilator. I say the same thing every time no matter what. Because it always works. I say trust me, do everything that I ask and I promise you'll stay alive today.

• Description

  As a man Jozua is very fit and well built, he's got short floppy brown hair and bright hazel eyes. Usually he wears a bright smile, and is very upbeat and happy.
  
  As a rabbit he is a Holland Lop, with flopped over ears, and in various shades of brown with white.

• Biography

  Jozua Laurens Tytla lived a fairly normal life, he grew up as a child of two shifters in Holland, and knew very early on what he was. His father Hollis Tytla is an Ermine shifter while his mother, Marybeth is a Silver Marten Rabbit shifter. He grew up on their large tulip farm, and worked there exporting flowers all over the place before he moved to Nexxus as an adult.
  
  Being incredibly comfortable in his own body he has never had any issues with any creature he's met in Nexxus. Living a pretty privileged life made Jozua pretty fortunate, but it also taught him to respect what someone could have. His big heart led him to his career, a life of risking his own life to save others. And he would never turn back, even though he has his MBA his passion is forged in the flames and ashes of the buildings he runs into every day.
  
  Despite that he has a very happy home life, married to Tiberius Tytla the two have been together for sometime and live in a lovely apartment with some very interesting neighbors. Tiberius, his husband, is an EMT and they are fortunate enough to work out of the same firehouse on the same shifts. In fact, they met on a few calls before and just hit it off. After some flirting and of course, a few dates they transferred into the same firehouse and then they just fell into each other's lives and finally put a ring on it.
