• Background

  Vesania is the fifth and last child of the D'Von family. She has no twin, and her mother died upon her birth. She has a blood sickness that weakens her immune system and has Complete Heterochromia (her left eye is cerulean blue, and her right eye is jet black), and, lastly, a scar over her left eye to add up to her whole unusual being.
  
  Ves had led a real happy life with all her siblings taking good care of her, though she is constantly haunted by the fleeting image of what her mother would look like. Deas had filled her up with stories, how beautiful and radiant their mother was, how grand her parties were and how elegant she looked like whenever she smiled with all her children around her. How she would have wanted to see how Ves was doing, and all the her other children were.
  
  Due to Ves' incurable sickness that deemed her frail and weighed her down to the bed, she experiences a lot of nightmares and panic attacks, even going to comas that lasted for a week or two, much to the whole family's distress. She coughed up blood more than usual, and almost at least twice a month, needed a blood bag to supplement her health. The blood type needed was AB+, which was expensive because it was too rare.
  
  Other than her sickness, Ves was an avid fan of the Dark things: Occult, Witchcraft, 'ungodly' things if that were to label her dark, Gothic tastes for it. She learned literature, and loved Edgar Allan Poe; she sometimes even began questioning the bible for Nephilistic beings being human, giant, or fallen angels, and if Jesus was even a nephilim himself. She did a lot of queer things, including searching and liking a lot of Paranormal to preparing her own Vampire killing kit when she believed she was both Vampire and hunter. She used to howl along with Jorah, the family dog, and learned how to study the stars in the sky. Ves was also interested in Science; to be more acute, the Anatomy of man and beast alike. She loved to know how things ticked, and even has her own bone collection. She liked the idea of Time Travel, but knew that if she went to the past, she'd mess up the future. She liked the idea of immortality, even though it was something that came along with great loneliness. She liked the idea of having angel's wings, but knew that she won't be the same. That was something wrong and yet so right with Ves; she knew how the deeper side of things worked, and even seemed to surprise the wits and knowledge of her family. She did nothing to upset her family into believing that she was possessed or something, though, but remained quite in the middle of her own fantasy world and of the real world. She liked dressing up and being dressed up, she liked Victorian fashion.
  
  Vesania loves her family, and is very clingy to them, even crying whenever her three older siblings went away to the army. But she knows, as stark as she knew that her eyes weren't the same color, as pale as her scar was, that they were doing it for her, and Deas and Jorah, so that they could be happy in the future. "We mustn't waste our time on planning against what's happening right now," she sometimes remarked. "Because what's happening right now, this second, is passing and quickly becoming the Past. We mustn't mess it up or else we'll get a different future." She said this when she was only seven years old.
