GRISTLE
Daniel's genes rear their heads from a distant country, sprouting out of a quiet town and growing alongside a distant sibling in his formative years. He was born from human parents, gaining his milky hair and silvery eyes from his father who was sat upon his wealth and his family. Strikingly similar to his father, Daniel held a princely look; sharp and clean.
From birth, curiosity bloomed in him. Nature was his forte -- playing in the dirt and the trees, swinging between the undergrowth and foliage more than he would ever spend his time inside. The amount of friends he clung to in childhood eventually drifted apart into his adolescence. Quick to flee his family life and friends, "adventure" is a word to be used frequently to describe his pleasant memories.
Occupationally, Daniel shifted between everything. Anything and everything to get him a little bit of income, he bounces between location to location, nomadic in his housing style and very impatient with income. Internal and external stunts and struggles leave him a very tired man. However, Daniel has more of a history than he might let on. Wearing his metaphorical crown of teeth, he is plagued by a blight of history involving midnight wood runs and hunts he would rather never disclose to those around him.
Human in characteristics, he presented a type of thinness passed down from an unreasonably high metabolism. Relatively tall, if he were to stretch, ever so slightly, his ribs would push. However, he is not untrained; he can manage heavy lifting and has exemplary stamina, as long as he's well fed. His complexion could be called sickly and ashy, quite pale with red and purple bruises peeking from under his clothes. His eyes and knuckles have a persistence of being tender and pink around the flesh.
He dressed with a warm grey blouse, taut with a belt of fabric. A threadbare, well-worn cloak was often seen with him, shielding his pasty skin from sunlight (not that he particularly needed it.) He hid away bones and coins in pouches, dangling from tight coils of thread on his trousers; dark and loose enough to be comfortable without snagging on everything whilst stuffed into knee-high boots, soles caked in dry dirt. Always accompanies by tight leather gloves, it was uncommon to see him wearing anything else, or anything less, even in the heats of summer. -
MAGIC & SKILLS
Curiosity drives Daniel more than most things would. His views upon the world fall somewhat short of the "enticing" mark however and leave him uninspired, much like trying to hold water. The mundane rituals of every day life prove difficult to keep in touch with reality, a kind of grounding that the man desired. As such, this left him to his own devices as he had dug and clawed his way to find something worth while and colorful; magic.
Daniel dipped his hands into magic at his late teens, beginning with several failed attempts at necromancy upon old fauna bones. He never quite had the ability to kill small animals himself for the act however, thus reclining on his illegal habits. This wended him to study elementals and collecting old bones instead as he grew older, leaving him back at square one with previous experience in necromancy and beginner experience in elemental magic.
●Zombification - The ability to revive something. He has done it before, but it was only ever executed on small creatures such as rats, avians and fawns.
●Earth Manipulation - Daniel holds the skill to manipulate and shape earth materials, such as dirt, stone and ores. When he's staring at the instructional book, that is.
●Minor Healing - Learned shortly before beginning his temporary experiments in necromancy. Can seal small scrapes and fleshwounds, but will leave them raw and vulnerable to reopening. -
