  General role: Leaders and negotiators
  Hunger: Blood of a sentient creature
  Clan Gift: Sight of the Sun. Incapable of being blinded and may shift sight to see in UV spectrum and Infrared Spectrum
  
  The Sun Clan are the ones the trys'tet tend to revere and hold on high standing. While it is true that no single trys'tet is above one or the other, those of the sun clan tend to be looked upon as leaders and negotiators. They are brought in because they tend to be level-headed and calm. Many become community leaders or aids to those of higher authority.
  

  
  
  

  Positive Traits

  
  

  Regeneration

  
  Trys’tet as a species are very hardy. While they do not possess instant regeneration, they do have the capability to expend their stored energy to re-attach limbs and recover from most injuries. Utilizing their energy pool, a Trys’tet can regenerate a wound level of a wound per point of expended energy. Reattaching limbs requires two points to re-graft to their body.
  

  Plantspeech

  
  Trys’tet automatically gain the ability to speak with flora. They can communicate and understand them with relative ease. They gain the bonus language of Plantspeech racially.
  

  Shapeshifting

  
  Trys’tet are capable shapeshifting into three forms. They capable of taking on their anthro form, plant form and two other forms of their choosing. Once chosen, these forms are locked and cannot be changed without significant effort. To change these forms, a Trys’tet must return to their tree and meld with it, realigning their body to the new chosen form.
  

  Trys’tet Soul Plant

  
  All Trys’tet have a plant their soul is tethered to. This tether cannot be broken except in the event of the Soul Plant’s destruction. Should a Trys’tet be felled by any means, their soul is returned to their plant where they are regrown in a month. This is a harrowing experience and the wound that slays the Trys’tet leaves a mark on their soul in the form of a scar that remains on their body. Destroying this plant makes the Trys’tet vulnerable. Should the plant be destroyed and then the Trys’tet killed after, the Trys’tet is permanently slain with no recovery without aid of outside influence.
  

  Psionic

  
  Trys’tet are psionic creatures. Many are in possession of psionic abilities, whether that manifests as empathy, telepathy or a kinesis of some kind, they all have some sort of psionic prowess.
  

  Trys’tet Venom

  
  All trys'tet are capable of lacing a bite with a non-lethal venom. The venom itself is a neural toxin, though relatively harmless in the standard dose administered in their bite, it is still an effective way to incapacitate. The venom acts as a pain killer as well as a strong aphrodisiac. In a high enough concentration, it can be lethal, but it would take more venom than any given trys'tet is capable of producing. The venom is highly addicting.

  
  
  

  Negative Traits

  
  

  Wilting

  
  While a Trys'tet can survive on regular food, it is only a temporary substitute. Trys'tet need regular access to water, sun, and soil. Food turns to soil in the Trys'tet digestive system, but it is taxing on their body and takes a lot of energy to do so. Eating normal food only will starve a Trys'tet in a matter of weeks. If they do not have access to all 3 things, they will begin to wilt. They will show signs like their hair will turn brown and dry out. Their abilities will become weaker as time goes on. Without water, they burn more easily and take more damage from it. However, plants are very durable. Completely devoid of nutrients, water, and light, it will still take 2 months for the Trys'tet to die, though they will go into a coma after 4 or 5 weeks depending on how durable they are. No matter how long they are without food, it will only take them a few days to a week to become revitalized should they get what they need.
  

  Fire Weakness

  
  All of them are severely weak to fire, though there are occasional exceptions to this as there have been some that are resistant to it or outright immune due to plant type or special abilities. Wounds inflicted by fire leave scars providing the Trys’tet is weak to fire. All wounds inflicted by fire are treated as one wound level higher and cannot be regenerated by energy expenditure.
  

  Ability Score Detriment

  
  While Trys’tet are in possession of supernatural ability traits, they also have a key flaw. With this flaw, one of their ability scores suffers a penalty. This is chosen by the player and can be any of their attributes that are not enhanced. The detrimental ability score cannot go higher than that of the average furre/human. More often, this ability score is significantly lower than average and tends to be a negative on them.
  

  Magic Void

  
  Trys’tet are incapable of using magic. They do not have the capacity for magic, as they cannot tap into the ley-lines or magical forces.
  

  Essence Hunger

  
  While unique to each House, all Trys'tet must also feed on a type of essence. They can keep up to 6 units of essence in their body at one time and lose 1 unit every week. If they only have 2 left, their hunger is overwhelming and they lose the use of their abilities. If they only have 1 unit left, they frenzy until they satisfy their craving. At 0 units, they go into a coma until they are fed by another the essence in which they need. See the different clans for specifics. After being in a coma for 2 weeks the Trys’tet dies and is reborn from their tree (see Soul Plant) but are permanently affected by a Trys’tet Vulnerability.
  

  Anti-psionics/psychic/magic Weakness

  
  Due to the very sensitive nature of their neural web and low-level psychic field, any kind of sudden use of anti-magic, anti-psychic, anti-psionic spell or ability has a 80% chance to disrupt the trys'tet's low-level psychic field that connects their neural web in an efficient manner. This doesn't destroy the psychic field, but it does completely disrupt it, akin to whacking someone upside the head, rendering them unconscious for a few hours while the low-level psychic field attempts to re-establish itself. This can only be done once the anti-ability zone is gone or they are no longer affected by the anti-ability spell/ability used. The length of time varies, but it takes a minimum of two hours before they will awaken and they will likely be in significant pain afterwards.
  

  Trys’tet Vulnerabilities

  
  Tykari’s Plight: Loss of ability to see in the physical spectrums. Their eyes generally become silver or white with a limbal ring surrounding the iris of their former eye colour. Sight lost in this way cannot ever be restored.
  
  True Name: A trys'tet with this vulnerability must assume a secondary name. Their true name holds power over them, allowing the individual that knows it to bend them to their will, call for them to come and they will hear the summons at any distance. Once a command is given using the True Name, the trys'tet must carry it out to the best of their ability and without question, resistance or questioning results in nothing but pain and agony for the trys'tet.
  
  

  
  
  

  Attributes

  
  
  Trys’tet have several attributes that they select from to have a bonus to. Those attributes become supernatural in how powerful they are. They may select any one of their core attributes as their primary attribute. This attribute is raised to a supernatural high. This means they can lift beyond what a creature of their size normally can, move more gracefully or faster, be tougher, smarter, wiser, or more charismatic. They also chose a secondary attribute that is also enhanced, though not normally as high. They also are required to have one decreased attribute (detrimental). Detrimental stats can be no higher than a 6 in D&D terms, but no lower than a 3.
  
  Strength
  
  Detrimental Stat: Character can only carry 3/4 of what one of their strength can usually carry and strength-based weapons are unwieldy to them.
  
  Dexterity
  
  Secondary: Increases reflexes and capable of running up to 20kph or one and a half times their original species (for turned only), whichever is greater.
  
  Constitution
  
  Primary: Increases ability to take damage immensely, granting damage reduction of two levels.

  Empathy

  
  
  Tykari is a strong empath. She has mastered this ability to the full extent of what it is capable of.
  
  Empathic Wound absorption
  
  As the name suggests, this allows Tykari to transfer wounds from another onto herself. The amount of time it takes to absorb varies based on the wounds being absorbed.
  
  Sense Emotion
  
  She is fully capable of sensing the feelings and emotions of another. This isn't telepathy and she cannot read one's thoughts, but she is able to sense how they feel and deduce what they might be thinking and allows her to detect lies. This is always active.
  
  Dark ability: Fear Lock
  
  A long time ago, Tykari was trained to be a weapon for the used of others to destroy lives. While this ability is difficult for her to use, it is quite strong. At her whim, she can enter someone's mind and lock the individual into a never ending nightmare that their own mind puts them into. She does not see this nightmare or has control over what it is, but the person is generally rendered comatose and unable to be awakened by normal means. One must be able to break the Fear Lock to revive said individual.
  
  Dark Ability: Inflict Wounds
  
  Tykari is capable of inflicting harsh wounds on someone using her empathic abilities. Not only that but this ability can also be used to transfer wounds she has sustained into another individual.

  
  
  

  Photokinesis

  
  
  Tykari is a master Photokinetic. She is capable of manifesting this light in various ways.
  
  Light Blades
  
  Tykari can manifest a pair of blades in the same amount of time it takes one to draw a weapon. They must be focused through the pair of rods at her hips as they serve as the focus necessary to create the blades. Once manifested, they are equivalent in strength to a wakizashi or shortsword. These blades can be manifested even in an anti-psionic zone, although she must maintain concentration every round she has them manifested with a 25% chance to lose the blades, causing her to spend an action to manifest them again.
  
  Cage of Light
  
  Tykari can create a cage or globe around someone that is comprised entirely of hard light. Touching the sides of the cage do not inflict damage, but they cannot be broken by normal means. Darkness spells and similar dark creating abilities can counter this.
  
  Create Light
  
  A simple cantrip-like ability. This doesn't do any damage or used for combat. She is able to create a small orb of light that follows her around for those that need it.

  
  
  

  Elemental Enhancement

  
  
  This is a simple ability and only applies to her manifested weapons. Spending a turn per weapon, she can alter the make up of the light to an element of her choosing: Acid (Earth), Lightning (Air), Fire, Ice (Water), Positive energy, Negative energy.
  
  Opposing elements cannot be manifested at the same time and she can only imbue enhancement on a weapon. This means she can imbue her right weapon with Lightning and left weapon with Fire, but she cannot imbue her left weapon with fire and then the right with Ice as they contradict each other.

  Compensating Senses

  
  
  Due to her blindness, Tykari's other senses have compensated to make up for the deficiency. This doesn't mean her other senses are supernatural, but they are much more sensitive than someone with all senses available.
  
  Sense of Smell: Her nose is more sensitive than normal, capable of identifying individual scents of people, though this can be overpowered by numerous people in an area or strong smells. Strong scents causes her a bit of a sensory overload.
  
  Sense of Touch: Her sense of touch is a bit more keen, capable of feeling something several inches away. This does not mean she will avoid every object and if something suddenly blocks her path, she is liable to run into it. This also does not afford her a sense of direction.
  
  Sense of Hearing: Her hearing is rather good, able to pick out small movements that might make a tiny noise, but does not allow her to necessarily detect someone sneaking up on her. Loud sounds tend to hurt her ears, especially sudden ones.
  
  Sense of Taste: Her sense of taste is pretty good, able to identify things by their taste, but it is not a lot stronger. It is a sense that didn't develop much more beyond normal.

  
  
  

  Mental Afflictions

  
  
  Night Terrors: Tykari suffers severe night terrors. Her past stresses and experiences from her early days left a mark and made it difficult for her to find sleep. She will rest when she is tired, but she will not sleep easily for fear that her nightmares will haunt her. What she sees in her sleep she will tell no one.
  
  Pyrophobia: Tykari is deathly afraid of fire and objects that burn, and for good reason. Fire negates her regeneration and causes scarring. Wounds caused by fire can potentially cause crippling effects on her if not tended to properly. Just the mere feeling of the heat of fire brought close to her will cause her to react in fear. She does not deal well with fire being used on her in any way.
