  Abilities - Skills
  -Agility- Jobe is.. Simply unmatched by most land creatures. Being in the ocean, and having muscles, and tendons designed for speed in a liquid thicker than air; Outside of the water his reflexes, and speed of movement is like a cobra attacking. In water his motions are more docile and slow, akin to a land creature on land.
  -Strength- Being that he lives for the most part, in water, and is typically in constant motion, his strength is very high. Easily capable of lifting double his weight, if not more. Along with this, his strength doesn't fatigue quite as fast as others.
  -Stamina- Needless to say, being in constant motion has crafted his muscles to ignore depletion. Think of his body as a motor; So long as his body is provided fuel, he can keep on chugging. This goes onward into his mental ability to resist pain. Sometimes to the point that he will welcome an attack just to get close enough for a finishing strike.
  -Skin And Bones- The shark's skin is like hard, smooth leather. Completely hydrophobic in nature to provide smoothness in the ocean. His hide alone is double the thickness of ordinary skin, and quite hard to boot. This is required to keep from getting damaged from coral reef, and from his own claws. For the most part, his bones are fairly strong for a shark. Time spent on land and out of water, having to support his own weight has caused this.
  -Lungs- He has a hybrid pair of breathing lungs, and gills. When on land he breathes normally, but when in water, 3 slitted gills on each side of his neck open, and allow water into his lungs directly. He still breathes while underwater if motionless, but while in motion, circulation of water provides him with ease of breath without respiration.
  -Intelligence- In social situations he's not the smartest. Typically this is because his views are vastly different than others, but sometimes this is due to pure stupidity. But technically, with physical objects he could be considered a genius, or artisan. If he decides to spend time on something, it normally will become functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
  
  Resistances
  -Water- This goes without saying. The water is his home.
  -Slashing- With such a thick, tough hide, blades that would normally slice someone in half tend to just gash him pretty good.
  -Physical Restraints- This is due to a mixture of his brute strength, and the sharpness of his fingers and 'toes'.
  -Seduction- It's far to easy to see through fake attraction for him. Though if it suits his advantage, he will play along.
  
  Weakness'
  -Fire- Its not so much it is detrimental to him, more the feeling and smell of burnt flesh isn't desired. Sometimes to great lengths.
  -Corruption- In his hungered states, the promise of a kill can at times get one what they want from him.
  -Love- If he really cares for someone, he'll sacrifice everything he can for them.

• The Myth

  It was typical of Jobe to care for noone but himself. That's how it always had been, and he saw no reason to change that. His life was rather mundane, or at least to him it was. His free time was spent either hunting for a fresh kill, or whittling wood into intricate design's. That was something he found breath taking; The creation of something new, out of something that had long since died. Rather the loner, he despised attention, preferring to be in the sidelines of the public's eye. For the most part this helped with his cravings, while a Shark was high on the list of suspects for brutal murders where very little was left of the victim; His general outlook on life, and the way he went about his day-to-day searching for who he was gave investigators a good look into the rather docile being.
  
  Quiet, observant, and nefarious would describe him well enough. Not normally seeming to be interested in anything unless there was a plan behind his actions and words. The gist of most of his desires tended to lie along the lines of fresh meat, or a stable path of work. After all, Who hired someone who could turn aggressive on the flip of a switch; Someone who's desire for blood and flesh only grew with time. Twas the life of a Shark in the current world. A world filled with fear of the unknown, of death, and of pain. While he blended in with the masses, if one could see into his violent mind, they'd find an uncanny calm with most furre's fears.
  
  Violated by the public since early childhood, he'd learned to manage on his own, drifting from city to city, from beach to beach, searching for a place to call home. But with his blood thirsty nature, plans normally would become ill-fated; Normally caused from a mutilated carcass found on the beach after a black-out from hunger. While he maintained control of his hunger, and ate reasonably off of fish and small animals. Nothing satisfied him like a victim who squirmed, and tried to escape. The taste of fear in blood... it was too good at times.
  
  Who was to say this man wasn't worth his quarter and rations? Only those who had yet to gain his trust, and loyalty would find out how soft the rough male was on the inside.

• The Antihero

  He wasn't your typical shark. Oh how many of his brethren spent all their time focusing on building the most masculine body, who had the biggest cock, who had the sharpest teeth and the most of them. All of this was trivial to Jobe. While sure he had a defined, chiseled body and was no doubt endowed; He cared for things that actually mattered. The longevity of his life seemed to take hold in his youthful appearance. Strong, Slender, Handsome and confident; Only made worse by his lack of consideration for such things. Generally topless, unless it was cold out; The male seemed to have no care in the world for clothing. Even his boardshorts seemed to irritate the shark. While women had the ability to be nude and proud, he didn't see the same being possible for his kind. Such was frowned upon wherever he went. But a frown.. That was never among his Ivories, nothing would get him down.
  
  General Physical Info
  -Eyes- Delicate, soft pools of emerald green. His mood can be seen in his pupils. Typically if his pupils are round then he is content. But when pupils become slits, and he focuses in, it is a sign of frustration, excitement, or hunger.
  -Hair- Semi-Long pure white hair with a single band of light blue through his bangs.
  -Coloring- Typical Tiger Shark coloration, Ocean Blue flesh covering most of his body, save for his chest, stomach, and groin, which remained white.
  -Markings- Typical Tiger Shark Markings, Black scar patterned stripes over any Ocean Blue flesh.
  -Genitalia- Human like in shape and form. Approximately 8'' normally, when aroused just shy of 12''
  -Hands- 4 fingers and opposable thumbs. Each finger is made of mostly bone and cartilage, leaving them fairly devoid of sensation. Their appearance resembles plate armor gauntlets in their functions. Sometimes causing uncomfortable sounding cracks, and pops when not moved for some time. The undersides of each finger is sharp, caused by a collapsable cartilage webbing that creates a clean knife edge on each edge of each finger and thumb.
  -Feet- Much akin to his hands, they have 4 'fingers' and an opposable thumb, as well as the webbing.
  -Special Notes- He was born without a Dorsal Fin. Amazingly his teeth are very well taken care of, and there is only one row of them; Though he will grow a new one if one is lost or broken.
  
  Inside Jobe's Mind and Body
  -Sensory-

  • -Eyes- In water he maintains immaculate vision in both high, and low light environments, but outside of water, his eye's lose their clarity at distance, and in the bright sunlight. Darkness is a sanctuary for him out of water.
  • -Nose/Electroreception- Like many undersea creatures, he is very sensitive to electromagnetic fields. Anything within 2 feet will be noticed unless he is very, very distracted. (Note his dislike of personal space intrusions.) Punching him in the nose will hurt yes, but more than that, it disrupts this system momentarily.
  • -Ears- While his ears are rather small, elf like in nature, he holds an incredible sense of hearing. Not so much that he can hear better than others on land, but that he is very intune with disturbances. This comes from his time in the Oceans, where the slightest odd sound could be a predator, or an unsuspecting prey.
  • -Bloodthirst- Yes, He will eat someone that pikes his eating interests. Typically this consists of humans, and the occasional deer. Fish, livestock, or just blood itself will not sedate the urge to feed. Prolonged deprivation of his need will cause him to go on a rampage of sorts. He will blackout, and awake the next morning with no memory of what happened the night before.
  • -Note for Human's, and human-like beings- He hates human's in the aspect of those who cause harm to their environment. 'Big-City'/'Sophisticated' people who live in spoils, and care for only themselves. The term human refer's to not only a species, but a style of living that infuriates the shark. Sometimes to the point of speeding his bloodthirst.

  
  -The Fears-

  • -Batophobia- He fears heights and tall structures. In the ocean he is like a bird, there is no falling. But in air he knows he can fall and what can happen. Sometimes this can be overlooked if he is falling into the ocean.
  • -Mageirocophobia- The fear of cooking. He simply hates the smell of burnt meat. Anything else he can stand to a point.
  • -Philophobia- He fears falling in, or being in love. He awoke one night above his late-fiance, having torn her to shreds in a bloodthirsty rage. All he has left of her is an engagement ring he keeps in his pocket.
  • -Anuptaphobia- The fear of staying single. But moreso, he fears that any significant other he may have, that he will be a danger to them. Jobe would rather suffer heartache than allow there to be a chance for a loved one to come to harm through him again. Having yet to forgive himself.

  
  -The Hunger-

  • Jobe needs to eat living flesh at least once a week to prevent outbursts of violence and cruelty.
  • If he goes 8 days without feeding on a being, control of his urges will be lost unless he intensely focuses on controlling the urge. The only solutions are to either distract the shark from the urge with a task, or for him to feed.
  • There are three states of hunger. Day (0-3)- The smell of blood, and sight of flesh doesn't bother him. Day (4-6)- The smell of fresh blood specifically and exposed flesh will catch his attention. Day (7-8]- Beware this stage, At this point blood of any kind will send him into a frenzy, or test his willpower.
