  Faustiana is a red fox. As a fox, she is capable of presenting as a humanoid or as a fox. Any instance of her being in a humanoid form, be it one that looks entirely human or one with vulpine features including but not limited to ears and a tail, is one that relies on magic to maintain it. Despite her natural physical form, Faustiana favors presenting herself in humanoid form even when this means she simply appears as a bipedal fox. The more her form deviates from that of her natural form, the more magic must be concentrated into maintaining the glamour. Therefore, should Faustiana appear as fully human in form, extraordinary stress, whether it is physical or psychological, may cause the glamour to diminish and reveal vulpine features, typically beginning with a tail, then ears, and so forth. Extreme stress may cause Faustiana to revert back to her fox form entirely.
