• Story of a Life

  The Birth of a Legend...
  
  In the Coastal Fox Tribe, deep in the hills, there was a child born as every other Keidran was. He lived his younger years chasing dreams and butterflies. It was clear from his early childhood that his spunk was contagious, it seemed like if there was ever a child in trouble in the village, Jyrik was somewhere in the middle. By the time he was a teenager he had mastered the bow and took up sword fighting, he wanted to be his village protector. It was his dream. To defend the ones he loved, it was an amazing dream. An Amazing dream that was one day ripped from his clutches... Just a year after officially becoming a man, his village was burned to the ground by raiding tribes. There were only three survivors. Jyrik, His Wife Alena, and His Friend since Birth Alan (It wasn't until much later that he actually learned that Alan was alive). In their plight, Jyrik and Alena were picked up by a band of travelers to be taken to a new home. The travelers turned out to be a group of Assassins.
  
  The turning point...
  
  In the ranks of the Assassins, Jyrik stayed true to his heart. Nothing to harm the innocent, only to punish the wicked. And his years there fine tuned his killer instinct. He grew trusted in the Brotherhood of Assassins, eventually earning the rank of Officer Assassin. He and Alena lived their lives amongst the Assassins in Harmony. When suddenly his old friend Alan resurfaced, he was also in the Assassins. He lived undercover as a masked man simply named "Ghost". When he unmasked himself to Jyrik he also unmasked something else... His Malicious feelings towards Jyrik and Alena. Alan defected to a regiment of Templars to destroy the Assassins. Towards the end of the Templar/Assassin war, Alena was murdered in cold blood by Alan. That night, something snapped inside Jyrik. His purity was destroyed. His life ruined. And most importantly, he was alone. From then on, all of Jyriks efforts in the war were dedicated to hunting Alan and killing him in the name of Vengeance. The war ended when Jyrik cornered Alan and killed him.
  
  What the future holds...
  
  After the dust had settled, and the dead were buried, Jyrik ended his times in with the Assassins. With no family left, his best friend murdered, he wandered the globe in the prime of his life. Spending it riding the grey line where his morals used to be. His skills he learned in the Brotherhood helped him survive in his own with virtually no home to call his own. Almost everywhere on the globe has been touched by this stray Adventurer, but half of them don't even know it. Jyrik spends nights trekking through forests and deserts. While spending his days in bars and taverns, drowning away his past. But for such a desolate side of his life he holds, he keeps it locked away. Usually when Jyrik is seen he is seen with a smile on his face. Forever the optimist, he tries to find the bright side of life. Sometimes in even the bleakest situations.
