  • Style: Wendil is a bit of a scavenger when it comes to clothes. She will wear what she finds and collects, usually cutesy colourful things, often paired with furs and other natural skins and woven plant matter, refuses to wear shoes.

  • Personality: Bubbly, friendly, welcoming, helpful and hospitable even to people who are undeserving. Resiliant, brave, curious, usually optimistic, can be a bit playful, or malicious in her own way when protecting her home or those she cares for. Comes off as airy, but is more intelligent then most give her credit for.

• About Wendil

  Wendilyn could very well be the last of her kind. She had no real evidence of this, but in her hundred and four years alive, she has had yet to run into other Fae-folk in the dying world around her. As the world has industrialized to the point of massive deforestation, there is less and less land to support such life, and Wendil finds it harder and harder to keep her little paradise alive and protected from the many who would foolishly wish to destroy it, or take it for themselves.
  
  She lives in a small patch of Forest on the edge of a dense urban sprawl, and works hard to keep it alive, as well as provide a safe environment for the animals that had flocked there in hopes to survive the concrete jungle the rest of the world has become. This is easier said then done, because many humans also try to invade her space, and with the, their ideals. Their own actions having lead to lessened resources, they see her land as opportunity and many would like to strip it of the resources it has or take them for themselves.
  
  Wendil's home, a giant old weeping willow in the center of the property does not appear to be anything more then a tree, and people often assume this land is unprotected, somehow naturally occurring. She often does not show herself to the people who come through unless they seem to be particularly in tune or respectful of the nature around them, or if they cause threat to what she has established for herself. Those to attempt to destroy what she has built often disappear never to be seen again. In the closely surrounding areas many children talk of the redheaded woman in the forest who will play with them, but most regard this as nothing more then a story.

• A Dying Species

  Long ago, people used to respect and sometimes even fear the Fae-Folk. Stories were told of their trickster like behavior, their fierce protectiveness, and their resilience. They were sought out for the gifts and favors they could provide, but treated cautiously for the potential danger they could cause as well to those that did not meet their standards. Such stories have long died out along with the forests and thriving natural life of Earth. Most have not ever heard of Fae, those that have view it a folk tales and nothing more.
  
  Born of a Willow tree, Wendilyn is more resilient then most, her mother plant one well known for its easy propagation even with lack of water and resource, as well as it medicinal properties and it's ability to nurture other plant life into growth. As a nymph of this tree, her life is tied to it, if the tree dies so too will she, but if any part of the tree remains, and is replanted and cared for, it is possible for her to return even from death. Wendil is bonded to her property which she spreads larger with each day, helping it let the wild life reclaim their land by taking over bits of forgotten industrial land, and reclaiming it for nature. On her Property her magic is strong, but if she strays too far she weakens, and becomes no more powerful or magical then the average human.

• The Magic of the Fae

  Below is a list of Magical Ability that Wendil Possesses while amongst nature.
  
  Enhanced Growth: Wendil possess the ability to make plant life grow at a rapid rate through touch, her finger tips able to provide nutrients and strength the plant life at a much faster rate then Mother Earth would normally provide, in just weeks she can take over entire lots of industrial land, unfortunately this does not stop others from hazarding to tarnish her work.
  
  Animal Affinity: Animals, even predators tend to respect and like Wendil, and may even appear docile in her presence, though they are very much wild. She seems to communicate with them in a way, not through words, but intention and feeling. She understands what they need, and in turn they seem to understand her.
  
  Enhanced Healing: Wendil has the ability to take pain away from those in need, depending on the severity of the pain, completely or mostly. She can also rapidly heal wounds in others over the course of a couple of days, in herself it takes only a matter of hours to restore herself to full health so long as her Tree remains unharmed. It is impossible to kill Wendil without also destroying her tree.
  
  Water Draw: She has the ability to draw water from the earth if there is any present.
  
  Teleportation: Within the confines of her property, she can appear anywhere she likes in the blink of an eye.
  
  Earth Manipulation: Should anything try to harm her Tree or her beloved natural life, she will protect it fiercely. The plant life can become deadly weapons and traps, and when the threat is disposed of, she will reduce their bodies to carbon and use it to feed her land.
