• It was like looking into a mystical mirror that permitted the curious to gaze upon a time long before their own; all one had to do was look at the immaculately dressed man to wonder if he'd been pulled straight from the mirror itself or if he'd simply gotten lost in space and time, his journey finally ending here.
  
  Dark pinstripe pants had not a thread out of place, the fabric a delicious mix of silks and cottons. He screamed wealth but at the same time seemed to elude such a descriptive word, what with hair that was twisted into firm locks and coupled with the occasional bit of decorative jewelery. Frock coats were almost always an addition to his attire; whether laced over one of his arms or actually snug around his shoulders it didn't matter - it was always there. His cane, while deceptively unnecessary, was the only other constant; forever gripped in a single raven-gloved hand. While he appeared somewhat casual with a loose red ascot rivaling a white dress shirt, those strangely colored eyes swam with impatience and on occasion unease.
  
  

  Why, most have often wondered, did he layer on clothes so thickly in such humid weather?

  Age: Unknown. From his extensive knowledge many believe him to be far older than he looks.

  Dress: He is often found wearing different outfits, but his most favored one is a white collared dress shirt accentuated by a red neck tie or ascot. Over that he often wears a black and smoke colored brocade vest that fits tight to his form matched with a pair of black and grey pinstriped trousers. Topping off the look is often a frock coat left unbuttoned.
  
  Additional Dress (Important): Gloves. Always, always! He is almost never seen without black gloves, or some other variation of color that matches his current attire.
  
  Weapons: He carries with him (usually, depending on the dream) a schiavona; a long blade that is heavier than a rapier and both pointed and edged for actions such as cut and thrust. The blade has a basket hilt in a luxurious and elegant wave-like pattern that protects his hand and is also good for clubbing.
  
  [*] Note: If he is entering into a duel he often puts a thick leather glove onto his left hand that is tailored with a pad of sand along the edge and into the palm, making it easier for him to deflect and catch sword blows from his dueling partner.
  
  IN DEPTH
  
  Attitude: Jhoel prides himself on being an aristocrat, so to speak. He's outspoken on matters that seem important to him, but more often than not he refrains from running his mouth in any unnecessary manner. Anything he does happen to say is usually something of importance; or something that should be listened to. He can be harsh, demanding, but overall understanding and exceedingly curious. He is almost childlike in his curiosity, fierce and unrelenting, as though there is a dire need for him to uncover whatever information it is that he seeks. When he sees something he wants he has to have it; usually anything exotic that he doesn't already have extensive knowledge about. He's very pitiless at times, but that isn't to say that he is overly cruel without reason; it's all about presentation and first encounters, how he perceives his acquaintance and how he believes they should therefore be treated.
