  • Mistress July 29th 0001

    (This page of the journal appears to have been written over the course of several hours and is slightly wrinkled, as though it has gotten wet and dried. There are also several mysterious stains on the page, including one shaped like a smeared hand print)
    
    Good Lord, I'm in love with a married woman. Well, lust, deep, unyielding, all consuming lust. And she is married to a, frankly, horrifying man. I'm nearly sure he would eat me if he even saw me looking twice at his wife.
    
    The story goes in that I was bored, as usual. The Golden Tether has far less interesting things going on than I anticipated, but I digress. I heard a few women talking about a miss Anja Fayad, and let me assure you, dear reader, that I have never been so glad to listen to gossip in my life.
    
    The evening was magnificent, glorious, amazing, how many other similes can I come up with to describe such a woman? She is graceful, she is beautiful, she is dominant and I absolutely cannot wait to see her again.
    
    I'm going to have to find some sort of romantic companion if I am to ever get her off of my mind, but I doubt anyone would measure to her magnitude. I swear, this woman will be the slow, pleasurable, torturous death of me, and I cannot wait.
    

    

  • Charming Princes July 23rd 0001

    I had the great pleasure of meeting Mister Rutendi recently and I can certainly see why Miss Natasha enjoys his company. He is incredibly handsome, and very charming. I do hope we can become much better friends, though perhaps next time we meet, I shall be wearing pants. Perhaps.
    
    I have also had the pleasure of meeting a glorious doll by the name of Desiree. Such a sweetheart, who sells sweets! I am very inclined to get to know her futher, as I can only imagine where our friendship could lead.
    
    The faeries are apparently mating all across this damnable island, and they have made my hair a most horrible shade of chartreuse. It is disgusting really. One good thing about this, however, is they have turned sweet Verytas into a very handsome man. I can only hope they don't intend on changing me into a woman, for I fear my entire social life would be ruined.
    

    

  • Friend and Benefits July 19th 0001

    Seems my dear Natasha is flourishing beneath my friendship. I heard her last night, in the throes of passion with some man, who I later found out was a prince.
    
    The poor dear wouldn't know what to do with a man if one came up and bit her on the nose. Fortunately, I know exactly what to do with one. I will bag one myself soon enough. Such a lucky girl, under the passions of a prince.
    
    This morning, I sparred with the varn girl once more, in more ways than one but, such things were nothing more than a display of our friendship, surely. She said herself, it was only a benefit to us being friends and she does not seem to be the type to take things at more than face value. I certainly will not be looking any deeper into this. She's a lovely, talented girl but my friend, and little else, and it will remain that way forever more. Oh dear, I'm just tempting fate aren't I?
    
    I have made another new acquaintance, Mr. Benezet Murat, a young gentleman from home who is just the sweetest, most adorable little thing. I look forward to seeing where that heads~

    

  • Roommate July 18th 0001

    Oh what a GLORIOUS day today was! Not only have I managed to find a butler. James, or Barry, or something like that, but I have found myself a friend who has been generous enough to allow me to stay in her quarters until my furniture arrives!
    
    Frankly, I hope that it never does, because Mademoiselle Vaughn is just the sweetest peach that has ever existed! I see us being the absolute best of friends, for we clicked immediately!
    
    My coat was returned, finally, by the slave boy himself with a little something extra in the pockets. Glitter. What a silly thing, but I imagine he thought I would dislike it. Joke's on you, elf boy, I love glitter.
    
    Perhaps The Golden Tether can be saved yet.

  • Arriving July 17th 0001

    The Golden Tether is certainly not all it's cracked up to be.
    
    My first impression is miserable. The servants are untrained, my coat has gone missing, undoubtedly stolen by the elf boy I thought would be capable of serving my breakfast, and ... well, it's just not the bastion of servitude and nobility that I thought it would be. However, it has only been a single day, so I cannot rightfully judge from just a few hours interaction with the public.
    
    I did, however, meet a rather interesting slave girl, who's name I did not even bother to ask. We had a spar and the girl is actually talented! I will undoubtedly rent her again, for I know she's owned by a gentleman by the name of Cassian. She absolutely put a positive spin on this terrible day.
    
    She is more man than woman, frankly. It is fascinating, to say the least.
