• Back Story

  Leslie doesn't know anything of his childhood due to being forcefully taken when three years of age by an illegal group. They kept him in a small, concrete drab grey room with only a lamp, one book,a mirror and a cot with a grey cotton blanket. He learned how to do the basic skills, reading, writing etc etc. By one of the people at the facility with the name of Dr.Cohen. He knew Leslie real name by seeing Missing posters everywhere but he referred to Leslie as Patient 17.
  
  A few years later of staying in the same room only being aloud to walk down the halls every now and then and only ever seeing Dr.Cohen he became dependent on the Doctor. One day, when Leslie was ten years old he heard a knock at the door and in came Dr.Cohen. "Good day seven-teen" He smiled as he sat down. Leslie stared up at him with big grey eyes and smiled back. "Yes Doctor?" He asked wondering why he came earlier then usual. "Todays the big day, we get to test your limits." The doctor smirked with a slight gleam in his eye. "Test my limits? Sir, what do you mean by that?" Leslie grinned, wondering what fun things they would be doing. The doctor led the small boy out of his room by the hand and walked down the dim halls. After a short while, they entered a brightly lit pure white room. Leslie had to squint until his eyes got semi use to the bright lights, seeing as he was used to dim lighting. The doctor asked him to go lay down in this chair that was set in the middle of the room. He did as told and soon four other people walked in, all dressed in white and had white surgical mask. They started tying down his feet and hands. "Sir, w-what are you doing? What test is this?" Leslie said getting slightly nervous. Dr.Cohen merely smiled and then it started. Un-humane torture, testing how the mind of a mere boy would hold up, inflicting pain on him to see his tolerance. They used him as their test subject.
  
  He went through these 'test' for over six years until one day, he almost broke down. He was paranoid of everything, he began talking to himself asking for advice and just trying to keep busy, he started shaking when ever he heard the sound of footsteps out in the hall, fearing he would have to endure a 'test' again. He got snapped out of his thought as the door flung open and two guards grabbed his arms and drug him out. "W-Whats going on? I-I-I Don't want to do another test! Please!" Leslie whispered barely audible to the guards. "Your not needed anymore kid,your going above ground." A gruff voice sounded from under one of the guards mask. above ground? whats that? Leslie thought for a few minutes.They drug his frail body into an old caged elevator and pressed a few buttons and it started moving up. Leslie stared at it in awe, never experiencing an elevator before. A few minutes passed and they brought him to, two huge metal doors. "Before you go, the boss told us to give you this." The guard handed a small paper to Leslie. He opened it shakily and looked down at the contents. Name: Leslie Verbek~Birthday:December 15 ~ Age:16
  
  He looked up at them with confusion. The guard shoved him a bit "Thats all the info we have on you kid, you'll be needing it where your going." He said while they opened the huge doors. A blinding light instantly filled the room and Leslie fell to his knees, covering his eyes. "I-It hurts...w-what is it???" He stuttered while clenching his eyes shut. "Thats the sun, learn to get used to it." The guard angrily grabbed Leslie's arm, jerking him up and pulling him out side. They then went back inside, leaving Leslie out. "H-Hey! Let me back in!" He yelled (if you can call it yelling) He stumbled to the huge doors still shielding his eyes and knocked rapidly. And thats where his new life began, he had to leave the area if he wanted to survive so he started looking aimlessly for nothing in particular just anything that may hold a bit of hope for his survival.
