This one had an ancient air around her, even if the female's style labelled her as a lady from a Gothic age. Gargoyle; the very mention of such a thing provoked the fantastical image of flying buttresses and strange beasts crawling over the highest steeples as they diverted water away from the building's most vulnerable places. Austere and usually washed in grey, the image was grand though usually devoid of any striking color.

This particular lady gargoyle seemed to deviate from at least one of those standards, wearing a skin that looked to be cut from the finest dark marble. To a passing glance, the color was just that: dark and without depth, but for those that opted to inspect the lady's skin they would see thin fractures of white and grey within the sea of black. Not to mention the skin was not even a skin, but a sea of tiny, rounded scales that were smoothed to a polished finish.

The standard that was adhered to, however, was apparent in her features. A dragon's wings, colored in direct contrast to her skin. And assortment of animal-like features woven together to make a singular form, which included a ram's horns coupled with the hooked snout that was all too similar to an eagle's beak. Despite this, soft features exuded a placidity that made the lady approachable. Those features were but a stage to a most unusual pair of eyes. They glowed softly, lacked pupils, and shared color with honey. A flowing white mane was a curtain to that stage, one that fell in loose waves down to her hips.

The hide was pulled taut over a form that could have stepped from a Renaissance masterpiece; Botticelli's brilliance honored in living form. That form was distinctly feminine; curved generously at both the bust and hip but... there was a curious strength that she exuded as well. She was a touch masculine in that she had the air of a protector, but perhaps that was something more to attribute to the breed itself rather than the individual. Delicate did not seem to be a term that applied easily.

Individual she was, with a wardrobe that suited a harem girl and shamed the more conservative of those aforementioned Renaissance ladies. Penchant for silk as a material was obvious; those with a keen eye for the material could see that gargoyle spared no expense for the finest a silkworm could produce. To everyone else, it was just silk. Silks that seemed to never stray from earth tones in their color, the brightest even being a pine needle green. Their adornment, when present at all, was usually embroidery made of spun silver thread that embellished the belt line.

All of this culminated in a carefully slow gait, like that of a queen in quite mourning, that was balanced elegantly by a flowing tail. Thin, sharpened spines punctuated the lady's passing like a veiled threat or a fable's moral; this one would forever be beautiful, but deadly.
