  Pocket Watch: Said to be given to the first Thompson by Chronos himself, the pocket watch is arguably the ‘ring master’ of the items in the shop. It is what protects the shop owner from the nastiest of curses and warns the owner when it is necessary to return to the shop without ill effects. For many the watch has been as much a pest as a friend and constant companion both in and out of the shop. The only curses it guards against are those the owner encounters in the shop, any outside or encountered without the watch on the owner’s person are not kept at bay.
  
  Reason for moving to New Versailles: Curses are nasty things and Zoe never likes to stick around too long after too many have left her shop. Most fail to associate the curses with her, and Zoe always warns that not everything in her shop is as innocent as it seems. However, now and then it is necessary to pick up shop and move.
