Nightwing Trading

• Company Information

  Nightwing Trading is a new company that was born from the ashes of another company, Tuathan Shipping. Where Tuathan Shipping fell to infestation due to mostly employing a single immortal race, Nightwing Trading utilizes a multi-racial crew made up of a mixture of peoples. And unlike its former predecessor, which made a mistake of relying upon a single and ultimately unreliable creditor, Nightwing Trading has a group of creditors representing drow, dwarven, elven, orcish, and fey interests.
  
  The company itself is primarily a wholesaler focused on supplying goods for other businesses to operate on or sell. As such, its common goods are sold in bulk and are not available in smaller quantities. These products are really not intended for individual purchase, but individuals are welcome to purchase them. This section also includes tools for someone to start their own trade business, and supplies or tools not listed can be special ordered. Special orders incur no special cost beyond what the company would normally charge if it stocked them regularly.
  
  The Nightwing Specials are special products, gained through carefully-negotiated trade deals or supplied through deals with the company's creditors, that are intended for individual purchase. These products will not be sold in bulk, and represent a much higher and much rarer quality of product than those that can be sold in bulk. As time goes by, expect to see that section increase, and expect to see limited-quantity items also come up for sale within it.
  
  The company is currently managed by Kess Nightwing, and all questions about employment opportunities, affiliation, special orders, or policy about what goods are stocked regularly should be directed to her. She cannot, alas, divulge the identities of her creditors at this time.

  Flame Fruit: This is an eggplant-like fruit that is colored orange and glows like fire. It gives off enough heat to be equal to a warm summer day for several feet beyond it. It is orange-like in flavor, but hot like certain peppers. - 2 silver
  
  Ice Fruit: This whitish-blue pear-like fruit gives off a chill that overpowers even the hottest of summer days. The flavor is similar to a pear, but with an extra coolness to it that chills the body. - 3 copper
  
  Acid Fruit: This fruit looks similar to a bunch of grapes, except it is a shade of green that is just slightly too sickly green in hue. It tastes just like white grapes, save that the very juice of it is a strong acid. - 5 copper
  
  Lightning Fruit: At first, this fruit is easily mistaken for a normal lemon, up until one gets close and notices the tiny lines of electricity dancing across its surface and feels the static in the air. Touching the fruit without proper protection subjects one to a powerful electrical shock. The juice tastes like normal lemon juice, save it gives tiny static shocks in your mouth. - 3 copper
  
  Blood Fruit: A special fruit that comes from a plant which looks like a growing mass of veins and arteries, this fruit is shaped almost exactly like the human heart. The juice it has inside has all of the properties of blood, and completely nourishes any vampires that need blood to survive. - 1 silver
  
  Cow Fruit: This bush produces a white berry with black sploshes all over it. Strangely enough, the berry is filled with milk. This fruit results from an attempt to use magic to produce a plant source of beef. - 2 silver
  
  Chocolate Cow Fruit: This bush produces a brown berry with black sploshes. It is a result of an attempt at magically combining chocolate with cow fruit. The berry is filled with a brown-colored milk that tastes like chocolate. - 4 silver
  
  Frost Radish: These radishes come out of the ground with a thin skin of ice on them, which can be easily chipped off. The radishes themselves always maintain at least a crisp chill, even in the hottest of climates and even when sliced. - 1 copper
  
  Ragnarok Pepper: To approximate the taste and heat of this pepper you must stick out your tongue, douse it in lamp oil, and then set it on fire. Coming from a bush native to magically-active volcanic regions, this pepper exceeds all other known spicy peppers for sheer heat. Only those who absolutely love a spicy meal and hate their taste buds should eat this. - 2 copper

  Ales, Dwarven: Ales produced by the finest of Dwarven brewmasters, each one is produced to that race's exacting standards. Each one is also capable of knocking out a hippopotamus at fifty paces. Only drink if you have the constitution to handle it. - 1+ silver (some ales will cost more)
  
  Wines, Elven: A true culinary delight, each brand of wine delightfully plays with the tastebuds and produces a symphony of sensation that simply must be experienced to be appreciated. - 1+ gold (must be special ordered, some will cost more than others)
  
  Rum, Merfolk: Produced by merfolk pirates, this rum is said to taste like adventure on the sea. More than one who has drank it has run off to scrounge up a pirate crew and raid the sea lanes. - 5 copper
  
  Moonshine, Orc: The smell of this might just kill you. The strongest technically-drinkable alcohol produced, this is made by orcs to their standards. It's said to be able to kill a dwarf at fifty yards and that even the gods are leery of trying it. You have been warned. - 7 copper
  
  Mushroom Wine: Produced by drow potionmasters, this particular wine is fermented from the various fungi that call their dark lairs home. Each type of mushroom gives it a different flavor and texture, making drinking the various types a culinary adventure that simply cannot be missed. - 3 silver
  
  Nectar, common: A drink of fae origins, this is produced in a manner similar to wine. The addition of mild amounts of magic and alchemy produce a drink far different, which reacts like normal alcohol to fae and most humans save that it wears off without hangover and they always remember what they did. Among furres and hybrid humans, the reactions are a lot more random and can even be toxic. - 2 silver 5 copper
  
  Nectar, high quality: Produced using refinements to the nectaration process, this produces drunkenness-like effect in all known species tested. However, it also does not last as long. - 7 gold

  Moon Lily: A naturally-occurring desert native, these white flowers softly glow and bloom at night but scrunch up during the day. The flowers themselves give off mild lunar magic, which can aid those who call upon the Moon and make their spells more powerful. The entire plant is also extremely toxic, having several akaloids in it. - 3 gold
  
  Night Light Flower: A three-foot tall flower that grows out of the ground and has blue petals. The center of the flower is a giant crystal that glows in the dark, giving off enough light to see by. - 5 gold
