  Back ground
  It was some time ago that I knew that I was different than most people. I could see things that others normally could not see. I can talk to things that my parents used to say where just my childhood imaginary friends. I knew better. I knew the difference since I was that little boy. I didn’t understand what it meant or why I could, but I knew better.
  
  Now as a grown man, I have found out the reason why I have this gift. This gift to see the dead, to see the other side, to see the future. I am here to help those to move on, to be spared a horrid faith and to help those who need to cross over. I am a bridge between life and death. I am the son of the Grim reaper. I am his heir, to take over where he left off many years ago when I turned 18.
  
  I am now 25 and I live as a normal human being. I am a librarian and I own my own house down by the water. I like the way I live. It’s not too bad. I help others who seek me out in the living world and I help those who need help crossing over in death. I even sometimes dabble in the circus when it comes to town and tell people about their futures and what to watch out for.
  
  I have fun in what I do. I love books and I love learning so being in the library is amazing for me. I also enjoy helping others so being the reaper is not too bad either. I know that there is other supernatural being in the world, but I have yet to meet any of them. I wonder what it’ll be like when I finally do.
