Iszela Zelkova is the current curator of the Dorton Museum of Fine Arts, a position passed down to her by her late great-grandfather, Lucien Xavier Zelkova. House Zelkova, the third strongest within the city-state, has long been known for its culture, preservation of Norvalian heritage and histories, as well as its affinity to the arts. So much to the latter that numerous renowned artists and composers one appreciates is oft bearing the name. Iszela's passion, beyond that which she has inherited, is religious relics from places near and far. As a purveyor, she often travels to seek the religious artifacts to bring back to the museum. | Though House Zelkova holds a waning political power within Dorton as of late, there is no wane in their influence. Often throwing lavish galas and parties for the leading families and heads of organizations, the Zelkovas truly keep the upper-crust mingled. Iszela, currently the Head of House, has been dealt a devastating blow: An arranged marriage five years prior between her House and that of House Faust has gone sour, casting the suitor into exile for crimes against the city-state. She has kept her chin up, however, and works tirelessly to bring new and exciting artifacts to the museum, as well as spearhead many community-based activities and keep up the traditions of the galas. |
