Kitsune

Over a hundred years ago, the kitsune deity Inari was met by a white fox merchant, deep within the Fang forest who was seemingly lost, trying to find town. All that was known of them two and that curious day became legend and then, slowly over the years, just a myth. The legend echoes of a bond unbreakable; they lived their lives alone in the forest, their love and affection is what made flowers and trees bend and flourish. It was told a small kit was beared- born in blossoms and light, forever to be adored and guided through the closely knitted world of humans and foxes.. Although, against their belief, this world had turned from what they knew as a subtle civilization to a divided, classified society. The stories were heard and the peace of the forest was taken, and amongst the heated clash, so was the white fox's life. In Inari's lament, she encased the woods in a forceful timber of vines and bark- forever unyielding to the corruption that came of mankind that day. Forever preserving themselves- but the child was nowhere to be found.

Ryth was named after her human predecessors, meaning 'born of flowers.' She grew and flourished in a life of an authoritarian family; noble by origin. She loved her days being spent in her large bedroom, accompanied only by dolls and plants, singing verses from her books and pressing tiny flowers between the pages. As days and years went by, the family grew to only isolate the kit, restricting her of going outside or even leaving her very bedroom. "There are things best left hidden.." Her mother remarked one night. After years the fox grew an uncontrollable animosity, a burning she had thought she could never have- and just before the light touched the darkness of the land, Ryth escaped. Leaving her loved ones and all her books behind, carrying just the clothes on her back.
Wanderer
She lived her life traveling to far off lands and meeting new faces. Choosing a life of compassion and excitement, something she was hollow of as a child. A hundred years went by she never regarded her former family and soon, forgetting them. Her past is a mystery as well as an elusion.
Mage
Powers were starting to be noticed by her, as she aged she gain more wisdom and a supernatural essence started to grow within her. At first it was small things, at the corner of her eye she would see small blue shades, tiny at first glimpse but quickly phasing out of view. Over the years she grew another tail, to her surprise and too many others, she avoided busy towns and closed halls to avert ill-fitted eyes that followed her. In one instant she tumbled while quickly pacing down hill to a glistening stream, in her naive attempt she fell but but caught by wind for a moment and crashed to the grassy floor..Ouchy..
Appearance
At first glance, she appears to be a strikingly petite kitsune with a tomboyish air about her. Walking with tiny fox paws pressing into the dirt and kicking it thoughtlessly, leaving small paw prints in the earth. Her clothing simple and comfy- always. Either it be tight spandex shorts with a large comfy sweater, or a simple school uniform she always eyed at a thrift store. She was never gifted with a fashion sense.

Warm milk with honey, rice, fish, big pillows, sleeping, stuffed animals, adventures, piggy-back rides, cooked carrots with eggplant, books, big sweaters, rainy days, playing in streams (i.e.small bodies of water.)
